*last nights call
Khanya: how cruel are you as a human being? no because I am sure that you could kill us all and escape the earth. Me: the earth?! Cynthia: yes because what do you mean by that you were mean to the men that saved your child. she could have been at some warehouse, ready for packaging or something but he picked her up and bought her ice cream to calm her down. Me: I was scared. Sinazo: scared of what?! he saved your child, for crying out loud. Khanya: you need to call that man and apologise with your entire being. Sinazo: she better. Khanya: and you need to ask him if he's married too. Cynthia: haibo?! Khanya: what?! Imani hasn't been in a relationship since that coward and she's not getting any younger, really. Cynthia: please tell her. Me: guys, I will find the right man, just give me time. Sinazo: how much longer? you have been single for years now. Me: whatever, goodnight.

I am contemplating calling this man but what am I going to say?
"Hey, it's the lady that was extremely rude to you even though you were her daughter knight in shining armour. I am sorry for being so mean to you, thank you for saving my baby.", no! I can't say that.
You know, I'm calling. Everything else will just fall into place. I call him and he eventually picks up after maybe the sixth ring when I was about to hang up.

I quickly come back to earth and respond.
Me: hey. it's the lady from last night, I just wanted to say that I am terribly sorry for being so horrible towards you. you had good intentions and I didn't even think about that as my mind went straight to panic mode. Neo: ma'am, I... Me: no, I know. you probably don't even want to forgive me because I am such a horrible person. I am not worthy of your forgiveness, forget I said anything. Neo: ma'am. Me: no, I know, right? are you really not going to forgive me? I said I'm sorry though. Neo: haibo. please listen to me, it's okay. now if you don't mind, I would like to get back to my workout.
He hands up and my jaw drops. Who does he think he is? Whatever, I tried anyway and he can do whatever he wants with his life, it's not like I'm losing weight or anything.
18:00 I take my baby and her stroller because we are not about to have last nights incident happen again. I put her in her carseat and I place the stroller in the trunk before driving to the mall again. I am craving Nandos again, don't judge me.
We get there and I order some food. I walk backwards a little again in an attempt to push her stroller properly but I bump into someone at the back of me and their phone falls on the floor.
Me: oh my word, I am so sorry. I can get you a new one. Him: no, it's okay.
He says looking down and squatting to get his phone.
Me: I am really sorry. Him: ma'am, it's okay.
He looks up and I can't believe my eyes.
Neo: oh, it's you. Me: yes, it's me. look, I will cover the costs for your phone. Neo: no, it's okay. I will get a new one, I needed an upgrade anyway. Me: no, really. I insist. Neo: you could pay for it by apologising. Me: how many times should a girl have to apologise to you, sir? Neo: until I forget about it, ma'am. now, the only I will forget is if you let me take you and little miss out for dinner. think about it and maybe you're apology will be accepted.
He is called so he collects his order and leaves and I watch that wonderfully structured man walk away. All I can say right now is "marvellous".
