Jin was up. Waiting on the living room sofa. Candidate files loosely held in hands.
Hobi's head rested on his shoulder, his breathing soft as he slept.
The doesn't door sounded and Jin held onto the file a little harder.
He watched as Namjoon walked into the living room followed by..... Yoongi?
Namjoon looked like a deer caught in headlights, not expecting anyone to be still awake.
"Min Yoongi" Jin greeted "Nice to see you"
Hobi woke up, disoriented and looking around.
Yoongi smiled and nodded "Kim Seokjin right? If nice to finally see you in person. And Hoseok of course. Great to see you again."
Hobi smiled "Yeah. Me too."
Jin glanced at Namjoon with raised eyebrows.
Namjoon chuckled, now more at ease "What?"
"What" Jin repeated grinning from ear to ear.
Yoongi seemed to pick up on their tone "I am pleasantly surprised too. I had a great time with Namjoon"
Jin bit his lips to stop his excitement from spilling out "You don't know how much that means to me right now."
Namjoon laughed "Alright. Alright. I just came to get the keys to my office because I wanted to show Yoongi around. We share the same passion towards business you see"
Jin nodded "I know"
"I'll go get the keys" Namjoon said moving towards the stairs.
Yoongi nodded as he stood and took in the beauty of the house.
"So?" Jin said "What do you think?"
Yoongi looked around again "It's a beautiful home"
Jin tsked "Not the house. You guys. Namjoon. What do you think"
A smile graced Yoongi's lips "We shall see"
"I'll take that as a win" Jin said , giving Hobi a subtle first bump for celebration.
Once the duo edited, Hobi and Jin hugged each other in childish celebration, bouncing on their heels.
"I know it's too early but-" Hobi said laughing "I think we did it!"
Jin laughed "Yoongi was my top choice for a reason. I am so glad he agreed to give this a chance"
Jin and Hobi, still hugging suddenly separated when they heard someone clearing their throat.
Jin looked at Taehyung, who seemed to have just entered the house.
"I am guessing it went well with Hyung?" Taehyung asked with raised eyebrows.
