Jin sighed and placed a gift wrapped box on his table.
It was late afternoon when he and Taehyung returned from his friend's shop. Jin would have stayed long, staring at all those amazing watches on display.
Jin never was the watch type of guy, but those watches made him want to wear one. Just for their stylish look.
And he knew the watches that Taehyung and Namjoon wore were from there too. Having seen the trademark crown on each and every watch.
He had selected two watches, both with the same designs. But one gold and one silver. He would leave the choice up to Taehyun and Beomgyu to choose which suited them.
They had also stopped by a gift shop, paying them to wrap up the elegant looking watch boxes properly. The boxes were matte black, with the same crown design, emblazoned in gold in the centre.
He knew the couple would appreciate it.
But all in all, what surprised him was how much fun he had with Taehyung. A week ago, he couldn't even talk to him properly.
Jin chuckled when he remembered that he had called Taehyung a handsome asshole.
Maybe he had been a bit too dramatic with the name. Taehyung was not an asshole. Maybe just a tad bit annoying.
But definitely still handsome.
Jin jerked from his spot when a knock sounded on his door.
He remembered he had asked Jaebum for a cup of coffee and walked expectantly towards the door.
He opened it and smiled when he saw Jaebum, the aroma of caffeine surrounding him.
"Thank you Jaebum" Jin said as he received the cup. He glanced over at Hobi's door, planning to go to him and see what he would be wearing for the wedding.
"Mr Kim?" Jaebum called.
Jin turned to him "Yes?"
"Ms Kim said she would like to see you" Jaebum said.
Jin felt the warm cup in his hand suddenly go cold "No-now?"
Jaebum nodded "She will see you in her room"
Jaebum turned and pointed towards the opposite wing to the last door "That one"
Jin nodded with a faltering smile "Okay. I'll visit her"
Jaebum left and Jin closed the door, leaning against it as he took a deep breath.
It was happening. The very thing he feared. Confrontation with Ms Kim.
Jin usually was absolutely right in his choices. He never made mistakes. Especially not twice.
Namjoon was probably too picky. Or Jin was out of it. Too distracted.
