Since Hobi said he would have lunch on his way back, Jin made way to lunch alone. unlike before Ms Kim was being more chatty now that Jungkook's mother was here.
Jungkook was sitting next to him and in the middle of a conversation between the two ladies nudged his shoulders.
Jin looked at him curiously.
"sorry if my mother made you uncomfortable before" Jungkook leaned closed to him and whispered.
Jin smiled, whispering back "ah I get it. my parents keep asking me to find a boyfriend too. so don't worry too much about it"
Jungkook smiled and nodded.
"but" Jungkook said "doesn't mean you are not handsome. you truly are."
Jin chuckled but Taehyung clearing his throat stopped him from saying anything to Jungkook.
"care to elaborate on what you said about about Namjoon Hyung's date?" Taehyung asked staring at him.
Jin looked at him and then at Ms Kim "oh yes. right. I was just waiting for lunch to end but since the topic is already on the table-"
"Well, who is it?" Ms Kim asked.
Jin pulled his phone out, opening up Yoongi's photo he passed it to Namjoon. "Just swipe right for his info".
He watched as the family one by one passed his phone around.
Ms Kim passed it back to him "So? what do you think?"
jin looked at her confused "i should be asking you that question"
Ms kim shrugged "what do you think?"
"He is my top 1 candidate. Always has been"
"Your trick up your sleeve?" Taehyung asked.
Jin looked at him and nodded with a smile "I told you"
Namjoon looked back and forth "Is that an inside joke?"
Taehyung dutifully ignored him and looked at his mother "Jin and I are going to Ms Hongs for dinner. So don't count us for tonight"
"We are?" Jin asked surprised.
"Oh yes" Jungkook butted in "I heard that a famous food blogger released a video about the restaurant. Apparently the restaurant is the busiest it has been"
Jin smiled "Yes. He is my friend and I suggested the restaurant to him. He said he will be honest but I knew Mrs Hong's cooking will have him down".
"I told you yesterday we are going" Taehyung said.
