Borj's Point of View

It has been several days since I started courting Roni. Not a single day have I failed. I pass by their house every morning, and I even serenade her even though we have classes.

My care for her doubled. During lunch, I still buy her food because I really want her to be full. Buti nalang tinatanggap niya.

Today is Friday, and I just finished taking a bath. Maya-maya lang ay pupunta na ako kila Roni. Kung dati maaga na talaga ako nagigising, ngayon naman ay mas inagahan ko pa.

Nakausap ko kasi si Roni kagabi, hindi daw sila mahahatid ni Tito Charlie kaya nagpresinta ako na sumabay nalang silang dalawa ni Yuan saakin. Kaya inaya din ako ni Roni na sakanila ako mag-umagahan.

Nasabihan ko na rin si Lolo na daanan nalang kami sa bahay nila Roni, para yung pagpasok namin ay sakto at hindi kami malate. Alam naman ni lolo kung anong oras ako napasok kaya wala ng problema doon.

I grabbed my things and my guitar and headed to Roni's place. I plan to sing right in front of Roni today.

I heard a song, "Yellow" by Coldplay.

Dahil nakabukas naman ang gate nila dumeretso na agad ako sa loob, sumilip din ako sa pintuan nila kung may tao sa sala.

Yuan and Roni were right there.

Hindi pa nila ako napapansin, sisimulan ko na magstrum ng gitara...

Unang napatingin saakin si Roni, ngiting-ngiti 'to.

Hindi agad nag sink in saakin yung sinabi niya.

"Yes Borj, sinasagot na kita." Sagot niya saakin.

"Totoo ba Roni? Hindi ba 'to prank?" pagkumpirma ko sakaniya.
