Dally's pov
I can't believe I did that to Kayla. I was drunk and I wasn't thinking. I have to figure out a way to get her back before she goes back to Tim Shepard he doesn't deserve a girl like her. I'm sure that I don't either by the way I just treated her that was wrong.
I love Kayla, when she said that I was too cold to love anyone that hurt.
I can't believe she's messed with my emotions like that. I saw the note she left for Buck she's gonna be at Shepard's maybe I should go by there and talk to Shepard and see what's up.
I walked out of Buck's place and headed to Shepard's place. I hoped that she if she sees me she will at least talk to me and let me explain. I need her in my life. She was the one who could understand me, she's the only one who knows everything about my back story. I told her everything but that was a while back when we lived in New York. I still don't know how I can be so stupid sometimes. I knew Kayla wasn't going to listen to me so I just decided to go see Sylvia instead at least she'd talk to me but I have to say there won't be a lot of talking going on if you know what I mean. I'll let Kayla come to me if she ever does I'll leave Sylvia it's just whatever man.
Kayla's pov
I decided that going out with Tim tonight was the best idea I have had in awhile. I think I'm gonna take him back because he was a better boyfriend than Dallas. I need to go see Super Dope but I don't wanna go because I might see Dallas then I'd end up killing him.
"Hey Jess you wanna go by the DX and see Soda and then go see Super Dope?"
"Sure. An didn't you see Super Dope this morning?"
"Yeah, but I need one of his hugs and I need his advice because he always gives good advice."
"Alright let's go."
We were walking out when Tim stopped us.
"I have some gang business to take care of tonight. Y'all go ahead and I'll catch it next time."
"Okay." Jess and I said together then we got into my car and I drove to the DX. When we got there I couldn't believe my eyes, I saw Sandy in the back with Sodapop it looked like she was about to kiss him. I walked in and Jess followed me. I walked up to Steve who was managing the front. I was talking to Steve when we all heard Soda yelling and that's something you never hear.
"I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH YOU SANDY, I'M IN LOVE WITH MY GIRLFRIEND. SHE'S AMAZING AND SHE WON'T CHEAT ON ME AND THEN LEAVE LIKE YOU DID. GET OUT OF MY LIFE."
"I DIDN'T JUST LEAVE SODA, I HAD TO MY GRANDMA WAS SICK."
"BUT YOU STILL CHEATED, PLEASE SANDY GO AWAY. I'M HAPPY WITH MY AMAZING GIRLFRIEND." Then there was silence followed by a mad Sandy storming out of the DX. Then Soda came out and turned as white as a sheet.
I looked over at Jess who was smiling and I knew exactly why.
"How much of that did you hear?"
He said walking to Jess and placing his arms around her waist.
"All of it, Soda are you really in love with me?"
"Yes I am baby girl."
"I'm in love with you too!" Then he picked her up and kissed her.
"Well I'm single." I told Steve.
"Yeah, you and Dal will be back together."
"He cheated on me with some broad named Sylvia."
"Oh she is his ex."
"They're back together now."
"Wow, well me and Evie broke up."
"Why?"
"She said she just lost it. I guess we ain't meant to be or somethin' I don't know."
"Well you'll find someone I know you will."
"Yeah I will thanks Kayla."
"Steve your cool, you can call me Icy."
"Alright then icy."
"Jess you ready to go?"
"Yeah sure." She kissed Soda goodbye and gave Steve a side hug. I was about to walk out the door when Soda picked me up and hugged me.
"I don't get a goodbye hug, your my best friend."
"I'm sorry. Please put me down." I hope he will but with Soda there's no telling what he will do. I was tossed into the air and into Steve's arms.
I looked up into his eyes when he caught me, when our eyes met it's like time stopped. It seemed as if we we're the only two people in the world.
I wanted to kiss him but I can't. What the hell am I saying? I can't like Steve I shook it off.
"Uhmm I uhh should get going I guess."
"Oh yeah sorry." Then he put me down and I walked out of the DX. I got into my car and just sat there.
"What was that?" Jess asked me.
"I don't know to be honest. Its just when our eyes met it's like time stopped.
It felt like we were the only two people in the world."
"Honey I hate to tell you this but that means it's true love, he could be the one."
"No no no, not Steve it can't be Steve."
"You can't deny how you felt though me and Soda saw the way you looked into each others eyes."
"Let's just go." I started the car and sped off towards the Curtis house, now I really need advice from Super Dope. I think I need it now more than ever. I don't know what to do now.
Steve's pov
When I caught Kayla and our eyes met it felt like the time stopped. It felt like we were the only two people in the world. I wanted to kiss her so bad, but I didn't cause I know she loves Dal. I just didn't know how she'd take it if I kissed her so I decided against it. I wonder if anyone else noticed it.
"Steve what the hell what that with you and Kayla?"
"I don't know, it felt like time stopped when I looked into her eyes. It felt like we were the only two people in the world. I've never had that feeling."
"I hate to tell you this but that means it's true love."
"No no way in hell, it can't be Kayla, I've never liked her she's a smartass."
"It's true love Steve. You can't deny how it felt don't even try."
"I can't deny it no but it just can't be true love. There's no way it can be it can't be her. It feels like she's the one oh God what am I saying."
"Dude she might me I found my one maybe you should find yours."
"Maybe I should but it can't be Kayla."
I walked off and went to the back of the DX to smoke and think about what the hell just happend. I can't imagine myself with Kayla. I just can't see myself with her. She's a cold hearted smartass bitch. I've never had a feeling like this before. I guess it just might be true love but I can't imagine it being with Kayla of all people in the world why did it have to be her. I mean she's beautiful and all I just can't see myself being with her. I guess it's cause I never looked at her that way. I don't know what to do now. I guess Soda is right it's true love but how can it be true love when you don't even know if that person looks at you the same, wait I just admitted that I love Kayla.
I have to talk to her real soon I have to figure this out.
