Kayla's pov
I woke up with Steve's arms wrapped around me tightly. I love this feeling of waking up and him being next to me.
It just feels like it's meant to be this way, and I wouldn't want it any other way. I gently began to kiss Steve's neck to wake him, he moaned lightly as he woke up.
"Morning beautiful."
"Morning."
"I love waking up next to you baby."
"Same I was just thinking that."
"I hate to ruin this moment but we need to get ready."
"I know but can I have a kiss first."
"What about morning breath? It don't bother me will it bother you."
"Nah." Then he leaned down and kissed me softly,then he pulled away.
"I love you so much."
"I love you too." Then I got up and walked into the bathroom to get a shower. I quickly showered off so Steve would have some hot water.
I stepped out and walked into the room with only a towel wrapped around me. I hoped it wouldn't fall and my body would be exposed. I got dressed into a pair of dark wash skinny jeans and a white tank top. I knew I'd have to put the DX shirt on so the tank top would be fine. I went downstairs to call Jessica and make sure she was awake. I hoped that she would be awake and answer so I wouldn't have to deal with Tim.
"Hello." It was Jessica.
"Hey Jess, just making sure your awake we'll be there in about twenty minutes."
"Okay. I'll be ready."
I went back upstairs and dried my hair a little more with my towel then Steve came out with a towel wrapped around his waist. I couldn't help but stare at his body, his abs were perfectly layered across his stomach. I guess he noticed my starring because he looked at me and smirked.
"Like what you see Kayla."
"No I love what I see." Then he came over and kissed my lips softly. Then he got dressed into jeans, his DX shirt and Chuck Taylor's. I smiled at him as he walked over to m and kissed me.
"You ready." I nodded and put on my Chuck Taylor's then Steve picked me up and carried me down the steps.
Then he carried me out the door and placed me in the car. Then he kissed me and got into the drivers side.
"We have to pick up Jess." I said.
"Alright. Then we'll pick up Soda."
I nodded and Steve turned the ignition on and headed off to Jessica's house.
As always he drove with one hand and held mine with the other.
"I think we should let Soda drive to the DX." I suggested.
"Yeah, I'll ride in the front though cause I don't want to be in the back."
"Fair enough." I said as we pulled up to Jessica's house. I was about to blow the horn but she came out dressed in the same as me even out shoes matched.
I think the tank top is mine though but since we are best friends I guess it doesn't matter. I got out and leaned my seat up so she could get in the backseat, then I got back in and let the seat back.
"Morning." Steve said as he backed out of the driveway and headed to the Curtis house. I love how Steve always holds my hand while he's driving.
We pulled up at the Curtis house and got out and headed inside. I walked in first followed by Jessica who ran straight for Soda who was sitting on the couch half naked. I just went into the kitchen with Steve who got chocolate cake of course it's just like him. I was about to say something to Steve about the mess he was making when Darry walked into the kitchen and annouced it was time to go.
I handed Steve a wet hand towel so he could wipe the chocolate icing off of his face. Then we headed out to my car.
"Soda your driving, Steve is up front with you me and Jess are in the back."
"Yes! I get to drive."
"Be careful." He nodded and we all hopped in and drove to the DX.
I followed behind Steve who unlocked the door, then Soda and Jess came inside. I walked behind the counter along with Jess, then Soda handed me and Jessica a DX shirt. I put mine mine on and so did Jess. I hope that this day would go by fast. Jess and I stayed up front and hadled the cash register while Steve and Soda handled the back. I was glad when lunch came we went to the dingo then back to the DX and finally at five o'clock we closed.
I decided that we should all go see a movie so Soda drove us to get the drive in. When we got there Soda paid for Jessica and Steve paid for mine.
I decided that I wanted some Pepsi and popcorn so I asked Jessica to come with me. I was walking to the consession stands when I saw a figure that looked like Dallas but it couldn't have been unless he somehow managed to get out of jail. I doubt it though it wouldn't be that soon. As j got closer I saw that it was Dallas, I almost froze. I ignored the fact that he was there and just kept walking then two socs approached me and Jess. I tried to run away but I was slammed to the ground and slapped in the face. I was pinned down and I couldn't move. I knew what they wanted I bet they're working with my dad's friend. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they are.
"We know what you did. An now it's time for your payback." I saw Dallas run towards me and Jessica ran off probably to get Steve and Soda.
I wanted to say something but everything went black and I passed out. I still felt like I was somewhat conscious but I couldn't open my eyes or even move. I felt myself being picked up by arms that didn't belong to Steve. Then I went completely unconscious.
Jessica's pov
I ran away to get Soda and Steve.
"SODA! STEVE! THE SOCS GOT KAYLA AND I THINK DALLAS WAS FIGHTING THEM OFF. HURRY!" Then we all ran back to the consession stands to help Kayla but when we got there she was gone and so was Dallas and the socs.
"Oh my God where is she?" Steve said in the most concerned voice I had ever heard from him, there wasn't any of his cocky tone of voice there.
"I don't know but the docs probably have her. Let's go to super dope he'll know what go do. I followed Steve and Soda out of the movie theater and we got into Kayla's car and we Soda drove to his house. When we got there we rused in and told Ssuper dope and the rest of the game what had happened. I called Buck and told him, he said he hasn't seen Dallas and that he is still in jail. Then super dope called the polcie and filed a missing persons report and we all hoped that Kayla would be okay and she would be found soon. I can't loose my best friend and I know Soda can't loose her either she's his best friend too. An poor Steve can't loose her he loves her with all his heart it would tear him apart loosing her. I just hope and pray she'll be safe and sound somewhere. An if I know Kayla she can protect herself better than anyone I know.
