"Are you really okay?"
Taehyung briefly peeled his eyes away from Jungkook's hand to his face.
"I'll just stay in if I ever feel sick again." The younger replied.
He released a slow outbreath as he gently knead his husband's palm. Jungkook's blood pressure is hiking these days. Only a few weeks more. The twin's due date is approaching.
"I feel a lot better this time though. The episodes of nausea are way less and I didn't swell at all. Right?"
Taehyung tentatively looked at him again. He responded with a half-hearted nod. He knew full well that Jungkook was just easing his worries. He's right. They've managed better this time. But still, he can't stop worrying.
"Didn't even spot ever. I'm really careful."
He sounded so much like Gukkie whenever he's trying to convince them to agree with him. Gukkie doesn't ever stop until he gets a response. Just like his mother.
"I know. You're right." He finally gave in.
"Nothing will happen. We'll be fine."
The firm kneading he's giving his hand transformed into tender touches. His hand was so warm but a memory flashed in his mind when it wasn't.
"Mama! Papa! There are giant eggs! Two giant eggs!"
Gukkie arrived wearing an explorer hat and vest, partnered with khaki colored shorts.
"What did I tell you about running?" Jungkook reminded strictly.
"I didn't run."
"Don't lie. Your forehead is covered in sweat."
"Ms. Han, don't let him run."
The help bowed her head apologetically. But when she thought that she'd get reprimanded.
"You have to be strong and not let this pouty, pitiful face get his way. Come here." Jungkook said with a smile.
He pulled Gukkie and removed his hat to wipe his forehead dry.
"Aunt Rosie said not to go there until it's time." Taehyung told Gukkie.
"Gukkie did not go there. Ms. Han said I can use this." He showed Taehyung the binoculars hanging around his neck. "I used it and I saw the giant eggs! You can see things that are very far!"
"Didn't think of that. It's for kids. How come it's working?" He peered through. "Oh yeah. It's working."
"Auntie said it's supposed to be a surprise so don't look yet."
"Okay. I'm sorry. Please don't tell auntie."
"There are eggs?" Taehyung pondered, regarding the costume Roseanne made Gukkie wear.
Mr. Choi appeared at the front door.
"It's all ready. I came to pick you up." He was wearing an adult version of Gukkie's costume, sans the binoculars.
The three of them hopped into the club car and journeyed towards the part of the estate where the party was set up. There was a thunderous roar sounding when they approached near. Gukkie perked hearing it.
"What's that?"
Soon, it all came into view.
"A T-rex! It's a T-rex!" He giggled.
The little boy can't contain his excitement. He was springing up and down on his seat.
The place was decorated with plants and trees. There were makeshift tents and camping tables spread around several rocks organized in a circle formation. Smack in the middle of it were the two giant eggs Gukkie mentioned beforehand. Three persons were walking around in an inflatable dinosaur costumes.
