"Congratulations!" Jungkook ecstatically greeted.
"What is the congratulations for, mama?" Gukkie asked with a small spoon in hand.
"Uncle Yoongi and uncle Jimin got married."
"Oh! Congratulations to uncle Yoongi and uncle Jimin!
"Thank you, bunny."
"But why didn't we go?"
"Their wedding was in another country." He explained. "Sorry. We can't come."
"It's okay. It's a long way and you have small kids. We understand." Jimin replied.
While the two talked on each end of the line, Gukkie was speaking to his father.
"Where is the wedding, papa?" He queried as he moved the spoon towards Taekwon's mouth.
"US."
"Where you went when you're gone for a long time?"
It was just four days.
"Yeah."
"It's far. You said you were in a plane for many hours."
"Yeah. That's why it's hard for us to go to your uncles' wedding. Your brother and sister will have a hard time."
"But not me! Because I'm turning eight, I can do it!"
"Of course you can! You're a real big boy."
Gukkie wiped the smear around Taekwon's mouth with his bib. Taehyung smiled at how his brows knit while doing it. He turned to the other high chair and eyed the mess of fusillis and red sauce on its table. The culprit was busy devouring the pasta in her hand.
"Yoongi's done. I'll go and shower now."
"Okay. Take care and enjoy your honeymoon."
Jimin just laughed.
"What's a honeymoon? Is it a fruit?"
"Bye Kook. Bye Tae."
"Take care. See you soon."
"Bye Gukkie. Bye Taekwon. Bye Taerin."
"Bye-bye!"
"Bye Yoongi hyung."
"Yeah. See you when we get back."
Jungkook ended the call and sighed when his sight landed on Taerin. She has placed one leg over her table and got stuck in a rather uncomfortable position.
"Bear, feet. Bear, feet."
She began to whine because she cannot move.
"See? Because you're not sitting properly. Bunny, you're done eating?"
"Yeah."
He detached the table and seated her back even amidst the struggling and twisting.
"No! No! Mama, down!"
"No." Jungkook told her in a firm voice.
He fastened the seatbelt this time. She exploded into a loud cry. Taehyung cackled when he saw Taekwon's face. Despite being engrossed with the spoon in his mouth, he was staring at his sister with a deep crease on his forehead. Like he's judging her. He showed him to Gukkie and they shared a laugh.
There's an extreme, stark difference between the twins. While Taerin has the most labile temperament, Taekwon's mood is most often stable and calm. He rarely cries. She always does. He's quiet, unlike his twin, hence, she has a wider vocabulary than him. He's always been picky with people while she is very sociable. Taerin is headstrong and always curious so she's often seen as the more mischievous between the two.
