"Here comes our little beans. So cute and pretty." Jimin cooed over the twins, each one in the couple's arms. "Cutie cuties." He gently stroked their cheeks.
"They both look so much like Taehyung. Too bad." Yoongi commented.
"What do you mean?" Taehyung raised his chin in retaliation. "Were you happy, honeymooning away when we needed you the most?" He joked.
Jimin guiltily frowned.
"Sorry." Yoongi replied sternly. "We shouldn't have turned off our phones and stayed away from the internet." He continued regretfully.
"No. It's okay now." Jungkook consoled.
"How are you? You two have been through a lot."
Characteristically, the younger looked sleepless. He was a little pale with dark bags under his eyes. He only returned a small smile, rocking Taekwon in his arms.
"We brought your favorite cake."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You want to have some now?"
"Maybe later. It's time for them to eat." Jungkook sat on the couch. "Is it okay?"
Jimin nodded, smiling.
"Yeah. Don't worry about it." Yoongi responded.
He draped a cloth over his shoulder to veil his chest and pulled up his shirt specialized for breastfeeding.
"You're not having any problems with their milk?"
"No. It seems like my body is doing better this time around."
"I'm glad. Is it true what they say? That twins are complete opposites?"
"Seems so." Taehyung answered. "Taerin is fussy while Taekwon is so chill. He's picky when it comes to people though. He only wants Jungkook. But this one is fine whoever carries her."
"Really?"
"You want to carry her?"
Jimin's eyes shone. Taehyung carefully transferred her into his cradled arms.
"You got her?"
He nodded. "She's so soft. Like something so fragile." His face twisted into an adorable cry.
"She is fragile." Yoongi pointed out.
Taehyung sat on the couch beside Jungkook.
"You want to hold her too?"
"No thanks."
"Why?"
"Maybe someday. She's still too small."
Jimin heartily beamed at him, understanding his anxiety.
"By the way, Gukkie's at school?"
"He's at the main house. He's taking his lessons there."
"You got him homeschooled?"
"In the meantime. I don't want him to hear anything from other people who can't keep their mouths shut even around innocent children."
"That's a good call. You've done so well hiding everything from him. Your little boy's amazing. He had no clue yet he saved the four of you."
Jungkook proudly grinned, remembering the time when he was stuck and writhing in the dark. He won't forget the sense of relief that he felt when he heard someone calling for his name. His Gukkie pulled through for him. A five year old boy who had no idea of what's really happening but kept his promise despite being alone and probably, scared too. He's immensely proud and thankful. And even more so, when he learned that Taehyung almost had a bullet in him.
