Katie’s POV

“What did Lou put in your pocket?” Harry yells back as we stop at a red light. I wish I knew.

“I dunno but the corners are digging into my leg.” I complain not removing my death grip around Harry.

“Why don’t you look?” He asks tapping his foot as we wait.

“Because my thigh is currently pressed against yours and I would have to let go; which I am not prepared to do.” I murmur tightening my hold around him. He chuckles lightly and taps my knee to warn me that we are about to start moving. I keep repeating my silent mantra in my head: Please let us live through this. Please let us live through this. Harry lets go of the handle bars for a second and rubs my knuckles.

“JEESUS! HANDS ON THE BARS!!” I scream loudly burying my face in the back of his jacket.

“Sorry! Gosh, would you calm down, darling?” He yells back swerving a little like I had scared him. I whimper and Harry pulls off to the side of the road.

“Are you alright?” He asks turning off the bike and pulling me around to face him. I choke back a sob and hide my face in my hands.

“Come here.” He murmurs pulling me into a hug.

“Can we just go?” I sniff after a few minutes. Harry looks at my face imploringly, his eyes searching mine and I look away. He looks rather puzzled but swings his leg back over the bike and waits for me to wrap my arms around him again. I take a deep breath and wrap around him again. He ignites the bike and starts driving us onward once again. I close my eyes and tighten my arms around him. Nearly a half of an hour later he turns on to a gravel road. I blink as a chunk of nature flies into my eye.

“Damnit.” I curse quietly. I don’t dare release an arm from around Harry and instead blink. I feel tears falling as I try and get the damn thing out without my hands.

“Are you crying?” He asks cutting the engine and turning to face me. I am finally able to reach up to my face and rub my eyes furiously. Harry watches with a bemused expression and finally moves my hands and gets the object out easily.

“Thanks.” I whisper blinking furiously.

“Haha, no problem.” He laughs helping me off the bike and grabbing the backpack we’re sharing. He takes my hand and I turn to the place we’re at. Wow.   I breathe excitedly. My eyes dart as I try and take in the beautiful place.

“Is that a lake?” I sigh dreamily. Harry chuckles and leads me into the log cabin.

“Do you like it?” He asks as he unlocks the door. I squeal loudly and drop his hand before rushing in the cabin.
