When those thirty long minutes finally passed, I was dragged eagerly out of the mall by Radford—and toward the theater that was already pretty close by. As he clung to my arm and dragged me foward toward the parking lot, I couldn't help but feel shame still cling onto me from the inside. Why did I give in so easily when it came to snacks..? Knowing Radford, he probably only said that so I'd join. He knew me pretty well after all. But.. it was worth a shot if it meant I got to eat something after a long boring day of basically nothing.

As we arrived into the parking lot and stepped onto the asphalt ground, I couldn't help but notice there were three cars each parked in front of the theater. One was a black worn-out truck that looked to have been used so much to the point of being nearly broken. The other was a more modern pink vehicle, and the other was a red vehicle with some kind of stickers on the windows. As I stared, I couldn't help but sigh. Radford had been so excited to get to the theater he basically dragged me here all om his own and forgot that I could easily drive us here. So that meant I had to do some walking when I was done with this little visit.. great.

After we got close enough to the doors, Radford tugged on the doorknob with a smile as he stopped in his tracks, and slowly opened it. The door let out a creak, and before I knew it, seeping artifical light came pouring out—practically blinding me. And once the light had settled, the familiar lobby of the theater was slowly processed by my eyes.

I already knew what the theater looked like, since I had been here before countless times when Radford wanted to go watch the premiere of a certain movie with me or anytime I came to watch one on my own. The flooring was the same red coating it had always been, along with the walls being the same sand color. I expected whoever Radford has in the club to be in the lobby, but to my surprise there was nobody there.

Radford stepped inside, dragging me along with him and shut the door behind him. Spinning on his heel, he continued to walk, dragging me toward a certain corridor filled with different and divergent movie rooms of different kinds. The farther we walked into it, the darker it became. Arching a brow, I couldn't help but speak my slight confusion aloud.

"..Rad, where are you—"

"Shhh! We're almost there."

Radford shushed me with an excited smile, turning to look at me. With a raised brow, I only gave him one last confused glance before looking down at the floor. I figured it was probably better to just wait and see what he could have meant by that. Maybe they had a certain room where they'd do their club meetings or something?

Finally, Radford stopped in his tracks after a while, my legs caving with minor pain when he finally ceased his movements. But as I looked up, I noticed what he was standing in front of. A singular wooden door that looked like a closet of some kind. I could have sworn I heard some muffled, masculine talking from behind it. I stared at it for a moment, and found myself met with Radfords excited smile as he turned to look at me one last time. I only sheepishly smiled back, unsure of how to respond to his clear excitement this time around.

Then, Radford turned away from me, and reached his hand foward, slowly twisting the knob and opening the door.

"Hey, guys! The new member's here!"

Radford practically tugged me foward into the room, his grip being a little harsher than I assumed it meant to be. I gritted my teeth in slight pain, and snarled quietly in return.

"Radford, I'm not—"

..huh? I look around the room.

The room is very tiny, but dark—with different grey shelves housing different items like projectors or random papers. The only source of light was the fairy lights that were very clearly strung around the lines of the ceiling, making the place seem a lot cozier than it actually was. There was a red fur rug that was nearly as long as the floor itself—a tiny table was sat on the rug. And in the space that wasn't covered by the rug, there was a singular flat screen TV that clearly either wasn't on or just wasn't plugged in.
