(IF ON KEVINS ROUTE)
..It was already Sunday.
I hadn't really expected time to fly by so fast—I guess I had been so filled to the brim with anxiety over Kevin's upcoming visit that I hadn't even noticed. Ever since I had gotten his number though, he actually seemed pretty chatty—I only texted him for a brief check-in just to make sure it was the right number or that he was prepared, but we ended up having a full blown conversation when Kevin brought up some incident from work. It was something to do with two kids who basically begged him for 'free candy cans' and apparently even nearly got him in trouble, but he wouldn't specify how no matter how many times I asked.
Kevin almost seemed like a full on different person over the phone though. His grammar was oddly sophisticated most of the time he texted me—though he was a bit of a dry texter since he only sent short responses at first. His texts seemed to get longer once we started talking with eachother more though.
But.. even with that, I still couldn't keep one thing off of my mind. Radford. Ever since that day last week where he was acting weird, I couldn't stop thinking about him. In fact, I was pretty worried. With what Ethan had said—and what Radford had said, it was pretty hard not to be. Even though Radford insisted he was fine, something about it seemed like he wasn't telling the truth.
And.. I really didn't want to just leave him all by himself if he actually needed someone to talk to. So.. despite having plans to just wait for Kevin to arrive today, I hopped off of the couch I had been laying upon within the interiors of my living room—and made my way to where the entrance of my house was so I could walk out and get into my car.
I was going over to Radfords house.

(IF ON RICKS ROUTE)
...It was already Sunday.
Ever since I and Rick had agreed to help eachother for the festival, I couldn't help but be a little anxious. I knew there wasn't really anything to worry about. He seemed like the type of person who just didn't really care about anything, so he probably wouldn't care no matter what we did over the weekend with eachother. Yet even so, I was still pretty worried.
Not to mention, we had been texting eachother a lot—and over text, he seemed pretty different. His texts were in all lower-case, slightly grammatically incorrect responses—-but I was still able to understand him pretty well. And he actually seemed like a pretty nice guy over text! I was learning even more about him as we talked, and that in itself was pretty exciting.
But.. even with that, I still couldn't keep one thing off of my mind. Radford. Ever since that day last week where he was acting weird, I couldn't stop thinking about him. In fact, I was pretty worried. With what Ethan had said—and what Radford had said, it was pretty hard not to be. I told Radfords mom over the phone as I was driving that I'd be coming over. His mother seemed pretty excited upon hearing this, since I hadn't come over as much as I used to. And said politely over the phone that she'd let Radford know of my visit. This was how it used to go all the time in the past. With one of us calling the others parents to eagerly tell them that they were coming over, or calling eachother over the phone to let the other know they were coming for a visit. Either way—it was kinda like a little tradition for us.
