Look at how slay all the girls look! Comment who's dress is your favorite. (Mine is Marella's) I have been gone for a lil while and I pinky swear that I will finish this book. It just may be later than expected because I'm at a loss for fluff ideas. I've found out that I'm better at writing the heart-braking tragic stuff. I'll finish The Insider for ya'll's sake. ANYWHO: STINA IS NOT PART OF THE BLACKSWAN FOR THE SAKE OF THIS CHAPTER.
It was now Tuesday. Sophie walked into the huge atrium for morning announcements to find her friends. She stood next to Fitz, who grabbed her hand and braided their fingers together. Sophie contained her giggle but couldn't fight off the small smile etched onto her face. She glanced around the room, the chittering of the students around her washing away. She saw Stina standing next to her newest group of followers: Allana Chistane and Lenora Greshor. The three glared at Sophie, their faces turning even more sour when they glanced down at her and Fitz's hands. Could Stina be jealous?
Sophie tore her gaze away from the menacing girls as the announcements started. Sophie tired her best to listen to Dame Alina announce the happenings around school, but she couldn't escape her racing thoughts flooding her brain. What is Stina's problem? Does she like Fitz? Do the other girls? What will everyone think?
"Sophie?" Fitz tugged on her hand, a concerned look spread across his face. "You alright?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm good. I just got a little lost in my thoughts."
"Well, come on we have to go to P.E."

Sophie walked to her locker in the girls' locker room. It was really just a personal changing room equipped with clothes, a vanity, and a shower all to herself. She licked the strip on the door and stepped in. Her P.E. uniform was a simple green tunic and her normal black leggings. She tied the laces on her boots that she kept in her locker tight so she wouldn't trip. She grabbed a hair tie and slipped it around her hair to form a low bun.
When Sophie walked out, she was quickly cornered by Stina and her goons, as the other girls fled the locker room to the gym outside.
"So Foster, you and Fitz?" Stina said, her voice dripping with venom. Keefe's nickname for her had spread, apparently. The way Stina said it made Sophie want to punch her in the nose.
"What about me and Fitz?" Sophie decided playing dumb would be her best option in a situation like this. Play dumb. You don't know anything unless she says you do.
"You're dating, aren't you?" Lenora said, twirling a lock of her straight dark brown hair. Her tanned skin was dotted with freckles that made her seem less intimidating than she sounded.
"Why, does it bother you?" Sophie countered, willing the blood not to rush to her already blushing cheeks.
"Yes. It bothers us that Fitz Vacker would date a freak like you." Allana stepped closer to Sophie as she spoke, wavy blonde hair falling in front of her face. Sophie's back was pressed against her locker, not wanting to be near any of the three girls.
"Like he would date you bullies." Stina stepped closer but stopped when a loud voice boomed.
"What's going on in here?" Lady Janine, the mentor for Physical Education, stomped over to Stina and the others.
"Nothing, Lady Janine," Stina replied cooly.
Lady Janine cocked her eyebrows and glanced at Sophie.
"It was nothing."
"Alright, well you girls need to go out to the gym, class is starting." The tall woman strode out the door leaving the four alone once again.
"Not a word, you hear me?" Allana stared Sophie down, daggers in her eyes.
