Tzuyu's POV

"Are you done with your work, Tzuyu-ah?" My best friend, Mina-noona, walked into my office as if she owned my office which is not true. She stood next to me, bending her upper body so that she could see what i was doing.

"Hey noona, i'm not done yet. And this is confidential, you're not supposed to look." I told her and hid the document, that i was writing, with my arms, and looked up at her. Her eyes then met mine and for a second, i saw a pink flush on her cheeks but she quickly stood back up.

"I didn't see anything, don't worry. When will you be done?" She said then asked, looking at me with curiosity. I checked my watch and looked back at her.

"My shift ends in 15 minutes." I told her and she simply nodded her head with a soft hum then told me that she will be waiting for me outside the clinic. I work as a doctor and she often visit me during my shift though she always visit when my shift is about to end. We have been best friends for 5 years and always there for each other through thick and thin. We didn't think about our love life since we are pretty much busy with our work life and we are fine being single.

"Hello, y/n-ssi. What happened to you?" I greeted my next patient and asked them a question. They sat down on the chair and pointed to their throat, indicating that there's something wrong with their throat. I then proceeded with my duty as a doctor.

My shift finally ended and the nurse staff informed me that the doctor after my shift has arrived so i could take my leave. I thanked the nurse staff and started packing up, getting ready to leave the clinic. I then went to the backdoor of the clinic and exited my workplace and went to the entrance of the clinic, expecting Mina-noona to be there but she wasn't.

Hmm? Didn't she told me that she will wait for me outside the clinic? Furrowing my eyebrows, i dialed her phone number and she picked up after one ring.

"Hello, noona. I'm done. Where are you?" I said on the call as i looked around, searching for her.

"I'm by your car." She told me and i mumbled an 'okay' and hung up. I immediately walked to the parking lot, where my car was parked at. I soon noticed her figure, she was sitting on the hood of my car. She noticed me and got off the hood, smiling widely at me.

"Finally. It took you years to be done." She said sarcastically and i rolled my eyes with a slight small while i unlocked my car and opened the front passenger seat for her.

"At least i'm still a gentleman. Unlike you, always slap me. So not gentle at all." I fought back jokingly and she playfully glared at me and hmph-ed, hopping into the front passenger seat, while i laughed lightheartedly. I closed the door and brisk-walked to the other side of my car, hopping into the driver seat and starting the engine.
