Dahyun's POV

"Sana-ah, welcome home!" Nayeon-unnie welcomed the older girl home as they walked into the hallway of the dorm and the Japanese girl looked really down and gloomy as she wasn't her cheerful and bubbly side. Her smile was gone, like completely gone.

"What happened?" Jihyo-unnie asked, going to her with worry, and patting her back to comfort her. The Japanese girl tried to hold back her emotions but failed as her tears started flowing out of her eyes and down her face. She covered her face with her palms while all of us gathered around her and gave her a big group hug.

She started explaining what happened in between her sobs and sniffles while Jihyo-unnie patted her back and i held onto her upper arm, stroking my thumb against her skin to comfort her. Seeing her being so vulnerable made my heart ache and i want to make her feel better.

"I'm heading out. I will be back soon." I told the members and wore a grey zip-through hoodie over my clothes, and a mask then stepped out of the dormitory even though the members were asking me where i'm going. The place that i'm going is not something i can tell them and this is to make my girlfriend feel better. I can only hope that this will work.

I went to a certain store and bought some toys, in hopes to comfort my girlfriend. Luckily, the cashier put the items inside a white paper bag and handed me with a professional smile. I took it into my hands while slightly bowing my head at him. The hoodie was over my head and i zipped it all the way up. The cashier has no way of recognizing me with my mask and hoodie on.

I stepped out of the store and made my way back to the dormitory. The moment i stepped inside the house, the members immediately surrounded me and stared at me, their eyes glancing at the paper bag in my hand.

"What did you buy?" Nayeon-unnie asked with curiosity and the other members were also curious to know what i bought but it's hard to answer them straight in the eyes.

I looked away from them, thinking of ways to avoid answering their questions and avoiding their eager stares.

"Ah! Where is Sana-unnie?" I asked after noticing that she's not with everyone here.

"She's in her bedroom." Which is also my bedroom, we have been sharing a room ever since our debut so that makes us roommates for very long. I nodded my head at the leader, who answered my question, and excused myself then brisk-walked to my shared bedroom.

Even though it's my room too, i still knocked on the door and heard a weak voice saying to come in. I slowly opened the door and peeked my head in, immediately noticing my girlfriend lying down on our bed with her back facing the door and the blanket over her whole body.

Her shoulders were slightly moving, indicating that she's been crying silently, and i walked towards her, standing beside the bed and gently placing the paper bag down on the floor. I bent down and patted her arm over the blanket. She slowly opened her eyes and looked into my eyes with sadness and it made me feel really hurt to see her like this. I should make her feel better. Yes, that's what i should do! I hope it works.
