『 Valentine's Day 』
February 4th 2018 Kate noticed Alex went home early from the Movie last night so she asked him what happened.
"Why did you leave the movie late last night? You ok?"
"Oh I felt a little sick."
"Are you ok now?"
"Yeah I'm much better thanks."
"You know, if anything is ever wrong you can tell me."
"I know. Thanks though."
"It's what friends are for."
"And I'm here for you if you need me."
"Love you, Al."
"Love you too, Katie."

February 14th 2018 It was Valentine's Day and Alex had more or less come to terms with Ruby and Kate's relationship and his emotions. He was able to be more happy for them and was a lot less jealous. He had notice how happy Kate and Ruby were now and that definitely helped, but he also had a big soccer match coming up which helped occupying his mind and George had been talking to him about it a lot recently.
Kate gave Ruby a box of her favourite chocolates and Ruby gave Kate a bouquet of a variety of her favourite flowers. Alex was happy they knew each other so well and that they made each other smile and laugh. He was still a little jealous but he wasn't letting it ruin his friendship with either of them.
At lunch that day they had their first kiss. He actually did find it really cute and didn't get jealous. Everyone was very happy for them and so was he. He also didn't want to feel jealous, and this was one of the reasons on why he was so annoyed, because he was the one who told Kate to go for it and ask Ruby out. He was angry at himself for feeling this way because he was the one who made it happen when it did. He was definitely much happier though, for them and with himself.
Kate and Ruby went on a date to a cute coffee shop in the middle of the city. George went on a picnic with his cheerleader girlfriend and Alex, Maya and Kyle decided to meet up as they had no dates. They decided to go get a McDonald's after school.

Maya was held up because she had detention for drawing an unflattering portrait of her social studies teacher during class while she was bored. Kyle and Alex waited for her to finish detention so they went to Kyle's house where they hung out with his dog and played Uno.
When they were all finally able to get to McDonald's, they had a great time. They all got along very well but something seemed to click when it was just them, even though they all agreed it felt odd and out of place without their three other friends.
Maya had told them about her art and how it's going to be displayed at their school art exhibition next month, Alex about how he was getting a new dog and Kyle about his new comics.
