『 New Neighbours 』
August 27th 2008 A 5 year old Kate Bishop was in her bedroom looking out her window watching as a moving truck drove into one of the houses across from the penthouse she lived in. She was intrigued by her new neighbours because there was no one living in that house for about 3 years now and there was a boy that looked around her age.
"Mommy?"
"Yes, dear?"
"Can I go talk to the new neighbour?"
"Yes but let me go with you and I can talk to the mom."
"Ok!"
Kate put her coat on and left the penthouse excitedly with her mother, Eleanor. When they got to the new neighbours house Eleanor talked to Kristy, the mom, and Kate introduced herself to Alex.
"Hi, my name is Kate and I live over there." She said as she pointed to her house.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Alex."
"How old are you?"
"Five." Kate says proudly.
"I'm six!"
"Alex, do you want to be my friend?" Kate asks excitedly. She is happy to have a neighbour close to her age.
"Yes, you seem cool." Alex is happy to make a new friend so quickly after moving and happily says yes.
"Thanks, you're cool too."
"Thanks."
They continued talking for a few minutes and then Eleanor called Kate to and told her they were going home.
"Coming!!"
"Bye, Kate. Maybe we can play together again soon."
"Bye. I'll ask if we can play tomorrow."
"Ok!"
Kate went to her mom and they headed home. On their way home Kate asked if she could see Alex the next day and her mom said yes.
