Birthday Celebrations

April 26th 2018
Kate spent the rest of the day with Baymax before they had to meet up at the park again. She really liked dogs and was very sad to have to say goodbye. She always wanted a dog but her mom never let her.

When Fred came to collect Baymax it was quick as he wanted to go home. Kyle handled the situation and gave him his dog. Ruby and Kate stayed behind because Kate had grown fond of the dog over the 3 hours they had him, even if her mother was not happy with her bring him into their house.

Kate was fine afterwards, just slightly sad. She knew the moment she moved into her own place she wanted to get a dog. She always liked the idea of big dogs like German shepards, labradors and golden retrievers.

It was Alex's 16th birthday and after school the Phantoms went to Alex's house to celebrate. They had Pizza for dinner and chocolate cake (his fav), cup cakes, and an assortment of candy to choose from as dessert.

They all put in some money to get Alex a skateboard because he had mentioned how he'd like to try learn to skateboard.

"Omg thank you so much! I love it." He said as he unwrapped the present.

"I knew you'd like it." Kate beams and Alex gives each of them a hug.

"I picked the colour." George chimed in.

"Thanks buddy, you did a good job."

The next day was a Saturday and they went over to Brooklyn to go to Coney Island. They had a great time and spent 2 and a half hours in the morning there.

Kate and Kyle were most excited because it was both of their first times going. George was a regular and would go at least once every year and the other had been once or twice before.

On the way back Kate was sitting next to Alex and she had some tea because she was cold and she accidentally spilled it on him.

"Sorry!" Kate said slightly panicked as she tried to clean him off with a tissue.

"Kate that's not going to help." Alex said calmly.

"Sorry." Kate apologised again.

"Stop saying sorry." Alex comforted her.

Kate paused and looked at him, "Don't say it." Alex giggled.

He took off his green hoodie and showed a new T-shirt he had gotten from his parents. Kate couldn't help stare a little to long. The style of T-shirt fit him very well and Alex was quite fit. She shook the thought out of her head thinking 'I shouldn't think that about my friend'.
