Oliver POV:

I walked in the cafe like normal, holding the bouquet mixed with roses and peonies. I could feel gazes on me, as I walked to the counter. I asked the person at the front for (Y/n). The person told me (Y/n) wasn't there. I frowned. This was new.

I called her, but she didn't answer. Why isn't she answering? I questioned myself. I asked around the cafe, asking if anyone had seen her. They all told me no, and continued doing their normal stuff.

I gave up, and walked home, throwing the flowers out in the trash can. I hopped in my matte black tesla. I sighed, and ran my hand through my hair. Did she really hate me this much?

(Y/n) POV:

I just finished moving into my new apartment. This place was quite nice. But...it was missing, that one person that broke my heart. I sighed, disliking this feeling of heartbreak.

I called my boss, and told them that I would be there at work tomorrow. I sighed, and jumped onto my new bed. A new start at life this seems like. But then, I remembered something. Oliver.

I quickly checked my phone, and found that he had called me several times. Several times, too much. I clicked on his number, and called back. "Hello?" Someone said, at the other end of the phone.

"Hey Oliver, sorry I haven't been calling. I was moving into a new home." Though I didn't like him, I still considered him as a friend. The other end suddenly went quiet. Then, I could hear some sniffling.

"O-Oliver? Are you alright?" I asked. I could hear some sobbing, then smacking. Was this guy alright? Was he smacking himself? Was he in his right mind?

"Thank god, I thought you didn't want me around you anymore, at all..." He said. I paused. Did he really think I would end my friendship just like that? I sighed.

"No! Why would I do that? Are you an idiot? Even though I rejected your love for me, I still want to keep our friendship!" I said, hoping it'll make things better. On the other end, I could hear him pausing again.

"Wait for me (Y/n), I will make you fall for me. That is a promise to you." He shouts, and hangs up. I just sit there stupidly with the phone in my hands, while I stared at it confused.

What a weird conversation. I sighed, and put my face on my pillow, as I slowly counted myself to sleep.

When I woke up, I felt refreshed. What a beautiful day today! I got dressed, brushed my teeth, and ate my breakfast. Then, I walked outside, carrying a bag. Another nice day for work. Work will get things off my mind.

I walked in the cafe, as everyone stared at me. I looked around confused. Did something happen? Oh no...I think I know what the situation is-

"(Y/n)!" Oliver shouts, smiling. I sighed, seeing what he brought. A bouquet, two times the normal size he gives me. At this point, he's going to murder me with flowers. I forced myself to smile.

He doesn't notice and continues blabbering. I am so tempted to... to slap him. I sighed, and got prepared for work. He continues blabbering, and I could feel lots of people staring at us, while I gave people the food they ordered.

This kept going on like normal, always making me sigh. One day though, he doesn't come. I should be happy. I should be happy that he isn't...

I shook the feelings off me, and continued working. As for the next few days without seeing him, or contacting him, I realized I missed him. But of course, I didn't tell him. My ego was blocking me from going that.

As I was walking home one day, I saw Oliver walking with a girl. What is this feeling? My heart is thumping uncomfortably...it hurts...is this the so called jealousy? I speed walked home before he could see me. Stupid me.

For the next few days, it was always like that. No more Oliver ...in my laugh. I sniffle, hiding under my blankets. One love after another. Why didn't I...I can't believe it...

He wouldn't believe it too, if I just popped up, and said I love you. But it seems, he has found another person...I should probably stop this. No more thinking about love. Just life. Just life now.

Oliver POV:

"Where's (Y/n)?" I asked around the cafe, because she hasn't been at the cafe the past few days again. Did something bad happen again? I asked for the manager, and asked them for her address.

"Are you (Y/n)'s boyfriend?" She asked me. I paused. "I won't be now, but I will be." I said, smiling to myself. She grins. "Go get her then. Be her prince that'll save her from misery." I paused.

"Do you know what happened to(Y/n)?" I asked. She sighs. "She told me she felt uncomfortable and wanted to take a day off. But 1 day turned to two, and two to three. I wonder what happened." She said.

I looked at the address I was given, and ran there. I reached there in about 9 minutes. I knocked on the door furiously. I hear some shuffling behind the door, and it creaked open. "O-Oliver?" She said, her voice in a different tone.

I put my hand on her forehead. Shit. She's burning real bad. "I-I'm sick Oliver, you should probably go-" She yelps, as I picked her up and walked inside, placing her in her bed. While I walked into her house, the table was piled with instant ramen. "O-Oliver-"

"Shush. I'll make something for you to eat. You rest." I said. She was too weak to argue with me, and just nods her head. I walked to the kitchen, and made some food, setting it beside her.

"T-thanks Oliver, but you didn't have to-" She was about to say, but I interrupt her. "No. I did this, because I am pursuing you. You have no right to refuse." Then, she ends up sobbing.

"Then why...? Why did you have to see another girl?" She asks. Then pauses, as she said something she wasn't supposed to say, but goes back to sobbing. Girl? What girl?

I thought hard, trying to remember what she was talking about. Then it pops up. I laugh. She stares at me confusedly. Then she angrily shouts at me.

"Did you just laugh at me?! Was this a game to you all along?!" She shouts. I laugh even harder. I put a hand on her shoulder. "That, sweetie, was my sister." I said, and grinned at her smugly. She pauses, then her face full on flushes.

"Did I just hear you confess? Did I?" I asked, teasing her. She hides her face, but doesn't deny it. "Then will you marry me?" I ask. She looked at me, as if I lost half my brain. "Oliver, we first start off with dating-" Then she puts her hands over her mouth, realizing what she said.

"Then I guess, I did it. I made you fall for me." I said grinning. I kissed her full on hard. "Ew Oliver...I'm sick...you'll get sick-" "I won't, trust me! I'm always as healthy as a horse!"

A few days later

(Y/n) POV:

"I told you." I said to the person, currently lying on the bed with the cold. He smiles stupidly. "But it's alright (Y/n). It's because now, I have you."
