I smiled. This was going to be an easy target. He seems easy enough to trick. I talked with him throughout the whole dinner. It was actually quite boring. 

He smiles contently, while I forced myself to smile. This is getting tiring. He finally stands up, pays the bill, and heads out. He says how it was nice to meet me, and asked for my number.

I held out my phone, and he quickly added my number, smiled and waved goodbye. I huffed, and relaxed myself, as my face came to a frown as my phone buzzed. I looked at it.

It was the guy from earlier, as he asked if we could another date this Thursday. I smiled. This was going straight with the plan. This one seems easy.

For the next few months, I went out with him on some more dates and he finally asked me out. I forced myself to lift the side of my lips, and smiled as if I was in great bliss.

He seems to have believed I was happy, as he soon hugs me. I huffed. How long do I have to continue this act for? I think about my love who was at home, waiting for me.

I quickly told him I had to leave and he smiles, saying he'll pay for the food as I quickly hurried out. I smiled genuinely, as I couldn't wait to see him

 Nohea POV:

I smiled, thinking about the way he acted today. Even though something felt fishy, I shook it off. After all, who wouldn't be happy when their beloved has agreed to date them?

I'm so excited for what the future would bring us... I hope... I hope our relationship can further progress. I smiled, handed the money and walked out.

I quickly walked to my car, as I told the chauffer to drive. I tapped my foot irritated. I want to see her right now. So badly. I paused. She wouldn't mind if I called her right?

I quickly dialed her number. The first time, it went to voicemail. When I dialed again, she answered. "Hello? Oh, is this Nohea?" She asks. I hum in response, trying to hide the excitement.

"Oh Nohea, I'm busy right now, maybe I'll call you back later?" With that, she hung up. I sat in the car, not knowing what to do. I put my phone down. 

(Y/n) POV:

I smiled, seeing my sick lover. My eyes quickly widened, worried about him. "Len, you shouldn't be doing that, I'll cook dinner for us. He shakes his head.

"I want to do this for you...please?" He looks at me with puppy eyes. I sigh, giving in. "Alright, alright, but I'll still help. Tell me what you need for me to do. 

We ended up making mashed potatoes, with ribs. "Mmm, this cooking is delicious..." I smiled. He just picks at his food, while I looked at him excitedly.

"What's wrong Len? Why aren't you touching your food?" I asked. "Well...I'm just thinking...what happens if this disease takes over me-" I slam my hand on the table.

"That won't happen. I'll make sure to earn lot's, and lot's of money to get you treated...okay?" I said, holding his hand in mine, hoping he would smile.

He does, but does it weakly, slides his hand out of mine, and starts picking at his food again. I looked at him again, not able to do anything, and ate in silence.

When we were both in bed, I faced him. "Len, you don't have to worry. I promise, that I'll make enough money, so you get cured. I'm sure you will be cured one day." I said, holding his hands.

He nods his head. "I believe in you." He says, gripping my hands harder, as he smiles weakly. I hated this. He knew I hated this. He does too. Yet, we can't do anything, but hope.

He held my hands tightly, as we slept that night, hoping our wishes will come true. I hope, that god won't play a cruel joke on us. Please, help him.

(Months later)

Me and Nohea were out on  a date again, as he stares dreamily at me. I stab the fork into the steak, and starts eating, not caring about his gaze.

All that was going in my mind, was how I hoped Len would survive...he was getting the treatment today, and I really hopes he survives.

Suddenly, I receive a call. I quickly stood up, startling Nohea. This must be from him. "Sorry, I really need to take this call quickly. I'll be back." I said, and quickly hurried out.

Nohea POV:

I looked as she headed outside. I paid for the things, and gave extra, telling them I was still using this seat. I quickly followed to where she went.

"Darling, are you alright?" A female voice says. I think that is (Yn)'s voice. "Of course darling. Great news! I'm cured!" A male voice laughs.

Out of curiosity, I peeked out a little from my hiding spot, an then gasped. I saw (Y/n) kissing this guy. This...this couldn't be... I rubbed my eyes, to see if I was seeing wrong.

Please, please just let this be a illusion... I backed away, as everything settled in, but something underneath me cracked, and both the people turned towards me. 

I froze in disbelief, as I just stared at them both. How could she? How could she betray me like this? I thought we loved each other- I thought she understood me!

"Wait, Nohea, this isn't what you think it is-" I interrupted her before she could say anything else. "I don't want to hear it." Then, I ran off, to god knows where.

(Y/n) POV:

"Shit." I cursed. I quickly bid farewell to Len, and quickly chased after Nohea. I can't let this mission ruin. I need the money for me and Len's future.

I quickly found him, and grabbed his hand. "I'm sorry, please, I'm sorry Nohea, I won't do this again. Please." I looked at him with  pleading eyes.

He falters a little, seeing my expression, but tried to hold it. "I can't. How can you expect me to forgive you, when I saw you and him, kiss?" He said, tears rolling down his face.

My heart thumped. This... this wasn't right. What was this feeling? Could it be? No. I can't. I love Len. "Please, Nohea...just give me one more chance, I'll do better!"

He pauses, and looks me in the eyes. "You promise?" He asks. I nod furiously. "Yes, I promise Nohea." I said. He nods, and smiled. But underneath that smile, I could see uncertainty. 

"So...do you forgive me?" I asked, holding his hand tightly. He paused before nodding. "Yes. I forgive you."
