Derian POV:
I rolled the coin over and under my fingers, feeling bored. I sigh. What could I do right now...? I hear some footsteps and I glanced down from the tree. Hm. Interesting. I smirk and jump down from the tree, giving them quite the shock.
"Shadow. Come out." I called out to my scythe. It's been a while since I've had some fun. I glanced at the carriage. They were protecting it. I wonder who could that person be...to be so important that they would protect the person with their lives.
I sliced and chopped through the people, grinning and laughing like a maniac. Finally, the people were all dead. No one to protect you now... I look the the carriage. I opened the door to the carriage, smiling. But then my smile dropped and I had my eyes wide open.
I closed my mouth before a fly could fly in. Huh...I saw a girl with raven black hair, with soft brown eyes. Huh. I held my hand towards her. She sqeaked and backed up. Ah. I forgot about the mess I made. I wiped the blood on my face, but only succeeded in smudging it more.
I frown. Why won't the damn blood come off?! I wiped my face furiously, before I saw a piece of white cloth in front of me. I looked up to see the girl hesitantly handing me her handkerchief. "Do you need...a handkerchief to wipe the blood off?..." She questions. Even her voice is...
I smirk. I gasps, as I throw her onto my shoulders and ran deeper into the forest. "H-hey! Where are you taking me?" She asks. Huh. This is interesting. She didn't seem scared. She just sounded confused.
I laugh. My heart fluttered as I felt her soft body against mine. I've never felt this feeling before. Was this the so called love that I dreaded? I laugh. It didn't feel that bad. I smirked. I will make her mine. I grinned at the thought.
I took her to my home, which was in the middle of the forest. My tail kept swishing side to side because of the excitement. Was she my mate?...I should stop. I see the girl looking at me questioningly. I coughed.
"Ahem. Uh..." We just stood there in awkward silence. I could see her biting her lips. I frown. "Don't bite your lips. You're hurting yourself." I say. She paused then laughed nervously. "Uhm...why did you kidnap me...?" She questioned. I just paused. I turned around to walk away.
I feel something grabbing my clothes. "Ah...I...please stay with me..." She said, face flushing. I can also feel my face flush red.
