I woke up to the soft glow of sunlight peeking through the window. Turning my head, I saw my husband sleeping beside me, and to my surprise, I was nestled in his arms. I distinctly remembered falling asleep while cuddling our kids, yet here I was, in a different room.
He must have carried me here last night. A smile tugged at my lips as I noticed the adorable pout on his face. Unable to resist, I leaned in and gave his cute little pout a gentle peck. As I started to pull away, he stirred and instinctively grabbed the back of my neck, pulling me closer until I collided with his chiseled chest. His lips found mine in a tender kiss, and my eyes widened in surprise.
He didn't just kiss me; he devoured me. He's not the kissing type. Instead, he consumes me like I'm his favorite meal, something that I discovered early in our marriage days.
I hit his chest to stop and finally for the first time in his life he heeded to something I told.
"Stealing is a very bad thing, Mrs. Adhya Singhania. Next time, just ask, and I'll give you plenty of kisses," he said, leaving me blushing.
After my morning routine, I went to wake Vihan. He began his day by showering me with kisses while Adhvik let out a scoff in jealousy
"Does he realize he's the father, not a child?" I wondered.
I face palmed seeing his behavior
Time Skip:
"We're going out today," Adhvik announced, breaking the peaceful silence of our breakfast.
I nodded in agreement as Vihan started jumping around excitedly, making Vrihanika giggle at her brother's antics.
"Don't you have work?" I asked him.
"I did, but I finished everything the day before yesterday so I could spend some quality time with the family," he replied, and I smiled warmly in response.
I was getting frustrated, unable to find the perfect outfit and feeling increasingly irritated.
"Mumma," Vihan called out.
"Yes, beta?" I responded.
"Why are you upset?" he asked with concern.
"I just can't find the perfect dress," I admitted.
"Can I help you?" he offered, and I nodded.
He carefully examined each dress until he finally found the perfect one. I wondered how I didn't notice it.
"Oh my god, you are the best! I love you," I said, ruffling his hair as he blushed slightly.
"Love you too, Mumma," he replied, diving into my arms for a hug that felt like it could last forever.
"Even I could have chosen a nice dress for you," Adhvik remarked as he entered the room.
Here comes the jealous baby
I sidestepped their banter to focus on getting dressed.
"Your mumma loves me more," Adhvik declared.
"No, she loves me more. She even told me 'I love you'," Vihan countered.
