Chapter one

Aether and Lumine started walking around the streets, Lumine doing her best to stop her brother from getting distracted by every little thing he saw, eventually they came across a store that was selling food and other little trinkets. The twins headed in following the signs within the store to one of the food isles, looking around at their options.

"Hey Lumine..."

"Yes"

"I don't think the currency here is mora" Aether pointed out, signalling to the yellow price tag on a small tray of onigiri saying ¥150.

"We could just take it, and pretend we decided not to buy anything" Lumine replied placing one hand on her hip as she gazed down at a tray of Dango.

"What no! You shouldn't steal it's not a good thing to do" Aether proclaimed waving his hands around frantically, at the absurdity of the idea. To his relief Lumine agreed to not to steal anything and the two left the store empty handed. Near the store entrance Aether saw a sign pointing to a park. Hawks watched as the twins let the store watching as they made their way to the nearby park, flowing behind them.

"Woah, this park is pretty" Aether exclaimed, looking at his reflection in the water of the fountain before gazing back up at his sister. Who simply nodded her head at her brothers excitement before placing a stick of Dango into her mouth.

"Hey! Wait where'd you get that? You didn't steal it from that store did you Lumine" Aether proclaimed immediately noticing it was the same Dango she had been looking at in the store. Lumine paid no mind to her brothers ranting, eventually shoving a stick of Dango into his mouth in an attempt to quiet him down.

"If you keep talking, you're going to attract unwanted attention Aether" Lumine explained, looking around the park grounds as if looking for something or someone. Aether planned to give a talking to his sister about the stolen food, but he was too happy to be eating to say anything to her. The two sat on one of the empty benches enjoying their food.

"Is something the matter Lumine" Aether asked looking over at his sibling who had a dark shadow covering the top of her face, while her eyes were practically glaring daggers into someone.

"I'm just fine Aether do not worry, I just need to quickly do something, I suggest you wait here for me" Lumine replied pasting a fake smile to her face before leaving Aether by himself on the park bench. From a distance Hawks watched as the female left her companion alone and went into the hedge maze.

"They're separating themselves, why. It would be easier for me to follow the female since the male is still out in a public space" Hawks thought to himself why he followed Lumine into the hedge maze making sure he stays out of her line of sight while maintain her in his. Eventually the two made it into a deep area of the maze, as Lumine stopped in front of a dead end.

"How far are you planning on following my brother and I" she asked turning to face the corner.

"You have quite the keen sense young madam, however I am up here" Hawks replied from atop the wall waving his hand down at Lumine. Before jumping down in front of her, using his wings to steady the fall. However Lumine was not amused by the mans "friendly" gesture.

"So why are you following my brother and I"

"Ah so that man you've been with this whole time is your brother"

"Answer my question birdie"

"Yes, you wanted to know why I've been following you two, well I am under the impression that you had been illegally using your quirks, as well committing a recent theft" after Hawks finished what he was saying he heard a quiet laugh coming from the woman, who had an amused expression on her face.
