Chapter fifteen

(one-on-one battles round two)

The two of them spotted their classmate Tokoyami rounding the corner, Aether quickly tossed the camera in Lumine direction, she caught the camera, stumbling for a moment as they both skidded to a halt. Lumine hid the Camera behind her back, acting as "natural" as possible, as Tokoyami soon stopped in front of them.

"Hey Toko! Do mind if I just..." Aether quickly snuck up behind Tokoyami, his actions quick as he went to tickle Tokoyami's sides, however Dark shadow caught Aether before he could. Tokoyami stood calmly in place, as Dark shadow tickled Aether furiously.

"Click" the camera went off, catching the unexpected scene, as soon as the flash went off dark shadow retreated slightly from the light, allowing Lumine to pull Aether away from Dark shadow's capture. The two made their escape full cartoon style, stopping for a brief moment to catch their breaths.

"Failure!" Lumine panted, lifting her arms above head making an X shape. Her posture slouched as she held back her laughter.

"Give me a break I keep forgetting about Toko's Dark shadow" Aether answered, his forced breathing calmer than before. "okay who's next?" Aether added.

"Let's see we got Toko and Iida, we might be able to catch Boom boy or Uraraka, before heading back to the stands for everyone else" Lumine proposed, tossing the camera back in Aether's direction, the blonde boy caught the camera trying very hard not to drop it.

Aether hid behind a corner wall, as an annoyed figure stomped his way down the corridor. Lumine was on the other side of Bakugo, outside of his line of sight, waiting for the right moment. Bakugo mumbled words under his breath, leaving him too distracted to see the romaritime flower that had sprouted up beneath his foot. He unknowingly stood on the flower, causing it to burst beneath him, the blonde to lose his footing monetarily. Sliding forward done the corridor. As soon as Bakugo stood on the flower Lumine immediately started sprinting down the hallway, passing by Bakugo's distraught figure, flinging a small star shaped item in his direction.

A glowing starfish-like item landed directly onto his face, covering his eyes as if it stubbornly hugged his face. Bakugo ripped the Lumintoile from his face, throwing it back in Lumine's direction. However, he was soon disorientated once again as the flash of a camera momentarily blinded him.

"You f*cking twins!! I'm gonna kill you! You little sh*ts" Bakugo shouted after the two of them, waving a clenched fist in the air, the Lumintoile clinging effortlessly to his hand. "This damn starfish, get of me you clingy b*tch!" Bakugo hissed, as he struggled to pull the Lumintoile off of his hand.

Aether slammed the door to the break room shut, panting, as he slid onto the floor. "That felt like a bad idea" Aether commented, his words strained as he clutched his pounding heart. Lumine sunk down onto the floor in front of him, sweat falling as she rested her head on a nearby chair, her own breathing filling the empty space. "Definitely worth it though" Lumine responded as two sets of strained laughter filled the quiet room, the camera sitting in the space between them.

-Time skip-

Aether and Lumine joined the others in the stadium stands, most of class 1A was there, except for two distinct individuals, a certain freckled Deku tree and a guy who can't decide if he's fire boy or ice boy. The twins took the two spare seats next to Uraraka, just as Cementoss finished fixing the last parts of the stadium.

"Welcome back to the first match of the second round! At this year's sports festival, both showed top class performances! Midoriya! Versus-- Todoroki! Its like two great rivals fighting against each other! Now-! Start!" Present mic exaggerated as he signaled the beginning of the match. As soon as the match started Todoroki sent a fast-moving wall of ice directly in Midoriya's direction, a sudden strong force of air crashed into the ice wall causing it to shatter immediately, a cold wind rushing through the entire stadium.
