"Why did we agree to this again" lumine complained as she followed behind Aether dragging her feet as she went along.

"Didn't you say you wanted a pass time while we're here" Aether questioned, turning to face his sister, a confused expression on his face but a light mocking tone in his voice.

"Yeah~ but I didn't think that meant we'd have to go to school again, and anyways aren't we to old for it" Lumine replied whispering the last part a little quieter than the rest

"Come on Keigo did all that work to help us get through the written exam we might as well go all the way" Aether cheered pumping a fist in the air grabbing onto his sister and forcing her to do the same. Suddenly another body came into contacts with Aether causing him to stumble over his own feet, luck enough for him lumine caught him by the back of his shirt before he came crashing to the ground, Aether took a quick glance up to get a better look at the person who bumped into him- it was a blonde-haired male with a black school uniform and a blue duffle bag slung around his shoulder, his hair seemed to standing up on end, it kinda made him look like a porcupine.

"Sorry sir" Aether apologized doing his best to hold back an amused laugh, eventually noticing the boy didn't even spare him a glance much less apologize as well.

"Don't waste your breath brother, your not going to get acknowledgement from that one" Lumine grumbled an annoyed gaze staring into the back of the boy.

-time skip-

A hush fell over the large group of kids as the lights began to dim and an image of the schools logo appeared on the large screen in front of them.

"For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today!" The twins turned their gaze to the figure who had appeared on the stage, their attention being slightly distracted by his obnoxious hair.

"EVERYBODY SAY 'HEY!'" the man announced lifting his hands high in the air, lifting his hand to his ear while waiting from a response from the crowd. Aether was going to say "hey" but Lumine's hand quickly covered his mouth as she shook her head, Aether instantly took it as she did not want to draw any attention to them.

"What a refined response. Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam!" the man continued making a quick recovery from the awkward silence.

"ARE YOU READY? YEAH!" He challenged bring a hand closer to the group of student quickly switching to a pumped fist but once again his enthusiasm was only met with un-enthusiastic silence. Both Lumine and Aether struggled to hold back their laughs.

"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!"

"He makes a quick recovery" Lumine and Aether both thought as turned their attention from the man's obnoxious hair to the words appearing on the screen, and thanks to the Japanese books they were reading and a little assistance from Lumine's Abyss magic they were able to read the writing with ease.

"You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle centre, okay?" once again the mans question was met with silence. The twins took a look at the paper slips they received at the entrance reading what had been written.

"OKAY?!"

"I'm in centre B, what centre are you in" Aether whispered to his sister gazing at the test location written on her card.
