Chapter thirteen: Cavalry battle

Chapter thirteen

"I don't really think we can work as a duo for this Aether" Lumine sighed, turning towards her brother, who was seated on the ground.

"Yeah but- who are we supposed to team up with when everyone already has their own teammates" Aether commented, extending his hand forward signaling towards the crowd of people in front of them. "On top of that we're only worth 385 point together-" Aether continued, before finding himself interupted.

"I didn't see an rules about how many people you need, or if you even need people..." Lumine interupted, her words obvious to her scheming.

"Did you really not hear me, I already said, no Field tiller's. Period." Aether commented, his voice exhausted as he collapsed backwards onto the ground. An unamused expression plastered on his face while he stared his sibling dead in the eye.

"And I agreed to that of course so instead I'm gonna use Tenebrous Mimesis and have them take the shape of Natlan warriors" Lumine replied, crouching down at her brothers side with a smile that went from one corner of her face to another.

"Tenebrous Mimesis? From Natlan? You do know I haven't been to Natlan yet... However, since you are my sister I am going to trust you on this, this time." Aether finished, just as the sound of a loud timer rang out in the stadium.

"After fifteen minutes to form a team and talk strategy, thirteen cavalry teams are lined up on the field! Now, raise those battle cries! It's time for U.A.'s bloody battle!" Mic's voice rang out through the stadium signaling the beginning of the calvary battles. Lumine quickly summoned two Mimesis, one of them turned into a female Yumkasaurus warrior and the other turned into a male Qucusaurus Warrior, who was on the slightly small scale. Lumine secured one band to her head with the other around her neck

"All right! You've made your teams, right? I'm not gonna ask if you're ready or not! Now, let's go! Counting down to the brutal battle royal! Three! Two! One!"

"Start!" As soon as the battle began all of the teams started racing towards the ten million points. Providing the twins with the perfect chance to avoid the crowd while at the same time take a few head bands. "Oh- 390! Not bad, Thanks Hagakure!" Lumine cheered, as the faint sound of Hagakure team could be heard from behind.

"Now then, even though barely two minutes have passed since we started, it's already turned into a free-for-all! Fights over the headbands are breaking out all over! Ignoring the ten million points and going for second to fourth places isn't bad, either!" Mic added. Lumine dodge backwards, the person going for her head bands nearly missed her but gave Lumine the perfect opening to take one of theirs. "Huh, purple hair..."

"Now, let's take a look at each team's points... It's been seven minutes! Here are the current rankings up on the screen! Other than Midoriya, and the Takami twins, Class A isn't doing so well... Bakugo? What?"

"Hey sis, it looks like Bakugo's team has set their sights on someone else, do you think it's a good enough distraction to get one of their bands" Aether commented, pointing out the standoff between Bakugo's team and another. Lumine quickly nodded her head in response

"Hold on tight!" Lumine answered as an abyss portal appeared below them, sending them over-head just above the team Bakugo was facing, Lumine snatched one of the head bands before landing smoothly on the other side.

"Thank for the 305 stranger" Lumine called out, but she was too out of range to hear the other team response, but it was obvious they weren't all to happy.
