Chapter fourteen: One-on-One match battles

Chapter fourteen

(one-on-one battles begin)

Midoriya and Shinso were up against each other in the first match, their confrontation wasn't the most exciting, but in the end Midoriya ended up wining against the purple haired male. Todoroki and Sero's match was also a quick one, with Todoroki winning it on the first move, so next up was the third match, of Denki versus Lumine.

"Everybody, sorry for the long wait! The stage was frozen in the second match, is no finally dry, so onto the next match! So without further ado-- Sparking killing Boy! From the hero course, it's Denki Kaminari! Versus-- Also from the hero course, The blonde with the arsenal of dangerouse pets! Takami Lumine! You already know the rules! So You ready?! Start!" Mic announced, as the match started.

-Earlier-

"Hey Lumi, lets set an element limit for eachother's matches!" Aether explained, leaning forward as he looked up at his sister. Lumine gazed back with w blank stare before answering.

"And why would we do that" Lumine questioned, pushing down on her brothers head, as he let out a short laugh.

"Just consider it as apart of our bet, since we know we'll win our matches, why not limit ourselves to two elements. I choose two for you, and you choose two for me. Then when we go against each other in the second round, we go all out" Aether answered, making various gestures with his hands while he talked. Lumine simply nodded along. "So who bout it? You like the idea" Aether finished eagerly.

"Alright fine, since my match is up next why don't you give me two elements to work-" Lumine responded, before being immediately cut off by Aether.

-back to present-

"Anemo and Geo... SERIOUSLY AETHER!? You want me to fight against electro-- with wind and rocks" Lumine thought to herself as she ran her hair violently through her fingers.

"Hey, when this over, you wanna grab a bite to eat? I'll comfort you if you'll have me. Cause this match will probably be over pretty quickly!" Denki offered, as yellow electro energy started to immediately gather around him. As he had voiced his offer, a wide smile planted on his face. "Indiscriminate shock... 1.3 Million Volts!" Denki aimed the energy towards the ground, allowing it travelled quickly towards Lumine, in one large wave.

Lumine used anemo to launch herself into the air, creating a constant wind flow to use for protection and as a platform. "Wind blade!" Sharp blades of air were released, reacting with the electro energy bellow causing in to disperse. Right after the energy had dispersed Lumine jumped down from her platform, hitting the ground with an echoing thud, "Shake!" Jiggered rocks emerged from the ground as soon as she landed, spreading out around both her and Denki, "Haah! Starfall!" More rock spikes sprouted from the ground trapping the blond male in a small cage-like structure.

"This battle was decided in an instant! I'll say it once more! An instant!"

"Takami advances to the second round!"

Lumine walked up to Denki's wobbly figure, he had short circuited, due to his quick. "Why would I get something to eat, with a person who acts like you" Lumine commented, poking the blonde male on the forehead.

"Kaminari's Quirk is supposed to be strong, but Lumine is a strong opponent who placed second in the entrance exam. Their doesn't seem to be a registered name for her quirk though, but it seems to be able to manipulate several natural elements to the users wish, creating multiple uses. Ontop of that, she seems to able to summon these ominouse portals, that she can travel through, or summon different creatures from. I wonder if there is a limit to how many elements can be active at once, or how many creatures she can summon, the earth-based element seems to act as a binding type, I hardly ever see anyone break out of those. It would be hard to get close while avoiding collisions with the rock pillars, so you'd either have to destroy them as they come out, or get through them with brute force... Oh, but to keep you from doing that she could probably trap you in a wind current that could restrict you movement, and be it strong enough, immobilize you in the air..."
