Deanna takes me on dates every now and then. She's got so many stories about us, about me, which suddenly vanished into oblivion after the accident.
We seem happy and in love, judging from the stories she's been telling me.

"D? Don't I have work before the accident?" I asked.

"You were a MAPEH teacher. You're a very good dancer and singer. I was even surprised to see you in one of your school's events. Your acting skill was not so bad. I'm the proudest girlfriend," she delightfully said.

I was just smiling at what she just told me.

"Actually, I've heard the school where you used to teach will be used for a dental and medical mission. We can drop by tomorrow afternoon if you like," she added.

"Thank you!"

My eyes lit up, and I hugged her because of too much excitement.

We're on a park bench right now. Eating ice cream while watching people as they walk by.

"Can we get more?"

I asked, referring to the ice cream.

I looked like a child. That's kind of embarrassing.

"Of course, darling."

She answered and then bought another cone for the both of us.

It's been a year since the accident, and there has been no progress in getting my memories back. Deanna's been so patient with me, though, and for that, I'm so thankful.
