God will never take something away from you without the intention of replacing it with something better.
I thought being snatched away from Deanna and being married to Ella would be the end of me, so I insisted on going my way, which caused me to almost lose both.
Deanna's my first love. The person who first gave me blushes and butterflies. She was my high.
Then, there's Ella. The person who quelled everything unsettling within me. She is my peace, and just like Stefan Salvatore, she is my epic love. My one great love.
I let out a sigh with those thoughts while looking at Ella trying to braid our five-year-old little girl.
"Mommy!"
She called out when she noticed my presence behind them. She then ran towards me to hug me.
We named her Jade Margarett Galanza De Jesus.
With Ella and our wonderful baby girl, I could not really ask for more.
She's got Ella's eyes and a loving demeanor. Nothing has ever made me feel more blessed than this.
"What's keeping my girls busy?"
I asked, lifting her in my arms and giving Ella a peck on the lips.
"Dada braided my hair. Look!"
She said, showing me her hair.
"Wow, that's so cute. Did you thank Dada for it?"
I asked her.
"Not yet, Mommy."
She answered and went to Ella.
"Thank you, Dada! I love you!"
She then hugged and kissed Ella.
Seeing their sunkissed smiles on our porch, hearing their voices, and hearing their laughter. God, this is life, and these moments are to live for.
