Chapter 2: First Day Of School

The next morning Renesmee and Esme got Masen and the twins up early so they could get them ready. Renesmee got them dressed while Esme cooked breakfast. Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie were out hunting but they promised to be back before the kids left for school. Renesmee came downstairs followed by Rosemary who was wearing a cute little blue jumper, dress and a white shirt, Anthony was behind her. He was wearing jeans and a red and blue striped shirt. Masen was the last to come down he was in jeans and a green, button down shirt.

"My you all look adorable." Esme said as she placed their breakfast on the table. They all went over and started eating. Renesmee and Jacob stood there watching as did Edward and I. Carlisle was up in his den doing some work but said he would be down in awhile.

We stood there watching the kids eat, Esme was cheerful as always she started tidying up the house as they ate. They were almost done when Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper and Alice came back. "You ready for your first day?" Rosalie asked as she gave the twins a hug, then she hugged Masen.

"Yes," Rosemary said "I am excited."

"So am I." Anthony said.

"Me too," Masen replied "I can't wait."

After the kids ate they got ready to go. Carlisle came down to tell them bye. He reminded them about not telling our secret, they gave everyone a hug, then they headed out the door to the car. Renesmee and I were taking them to school. I kissed Edward then headed out the door. I got into the car with Renesmee and the kids and headed to the school.

When we got to the school we took the kids in and got them registered then they gave us a hug and started towards class. Renesmee was alittle teary eyed. I just put my arm around her and gave her a hug. "You alright?" I asked.

"Yeah" Renesmee replied "Just sad to see them grow so fast."

I just smiled at her. "I know how you feel." I said hugging her again.

She smiled back, she knew what I meant. At least she had a normal growing kids unlike she was. By this age Renesmee looked like a teenager. "I love you mom." Renesmee said as we got back into the car.

"I love you too." I replied as we headed back home.

ROSEMARY'S POV:

Well mom and Grandma dropped Anthony, Masen and Myself off to school for the first time. I was nervous and excited and even scared. I was just glad I had Anthony and Masen with me. It made it alittle easier to have them around. I had to be very careful not to show people my ability, the guys promised to help protect me.

As we walked into class the teacher turned and introduced us to the class. We were starting in junior high, there were about 14 other kids in there. They all sat at tables in groups. I was glad that there was an empty table near the back with 3 chairs.

"Please have a seat at the empty table." Ms. Johnson said as she smiled as us.

We headed to the table and sat down, all the kids turned and watched us walk all the wat to the table. "Alright class, lets open our books and get started." Ms. Johnson said as all the other kids turned to face the teacher.

I sat there looking at my book as the teacher talked about what we were learning, I tried not to glance up cause I had a feeling that there was someone staring at me. I hated when I got that feeling it made me feel weird. So all through class I looked at my book.

The bell rang and all the students closed there books as the teacher said "Lunch time kids." I sat there until I knew everyone other then Anthony and Masen were gone then I closed my book and we all left together.

"You alright?" Masen asked as we walked to the cafeteria.

"Yeah," I replied "I just had a weird feeling someone was staring at me."

Anthony laughed "Yeah, I did too but they weren't." I smiled at him, I was glad he felt the same way but he had the guts to look and see. I was alittle more shy.

We got our lunch and went and sat down. We sat there eating while everyone around us were eating and talking. It was alittle loud in the room but it didn't bother me like it does when it is quiet. After lunch we headed back to class and I wasn't quite as uncomfortable as I was early. We finished up our lessons and the teacher gave us our homework assignment which wasn't much then she dismissed class.

Anthony, Masen and I headed toward the parking lot to go home, as we were walking I could see mom and grandma in the distance. They were in the same place they were this morning and both were smiling, they must have been happy to see us. I was sure happy to see them. I liked school but I missed being with them.

"Hi honey," mom said giving me a hug "How was school?"

"It was good." I replied as I got into the car with Anthony and Masen.

The ride home was full of questions, mom and Grandma was asking us about our teacher and the other kids and how we felt about going. Anthony and Masen seemed excited about it. I wasn;t as enthused as they were but I didn't mind going. I stared out the window the rest of the way home.
