BELLA'S POV

　

　

After we got back home Edward and I sat on the couch, I wasn't paying alot of attention, I was still wondering where Leah was. She didn't come to the party for the twins or even the one near her home. I was alittle concerned about where she was. I know we have never got along that well but we were doing good since Renesmee was born and in the past few years she has seemed happier since she met someone. As I sat there in deep thought Edward just stared, it bugged him that he can't read my mind, he never knows what I am thinking unless I let my shield down and show him.

"Bella?" he asked concerned. "You alright?"

"Yes," I replied looking at him. "I was just thinking."

"About what?" he asked as he kissed my neck.

"I am worried about Leah." I replied "I haven't seen her in awhile and she was the only one not at the beach today." Edward just looked at me, "Edward?" I said but he didn't say anything.

About that time I heard someone come in. "Didn't you hear?" Jacob said as him and Renesmee walked through the living room.

"Hear what?" I asked confused.

"Charlie proposed to Sue." he said.

"What!" I said in a stunned voice. I looked over at Edward. "Did you know about this?"

"No," he replied "Not until I heard Jacob think it as he was walking in. I didn't have time to say anything before he did."

I sat there in shock, I couldn't believe that Charlie proposed, I mean I kind of wished he would so he would cause I know he would be happy with Sue. But I didn't think he would want to go through it again after my mom. I was actually happy about it, but what did that have to do with Leah. I thought she liked Charlie.

"What does that have to do with Leah?" I asked. "Doesn;t she like Charlie and want her mom happy?"

"Yes," Jacob said "But she never thought her mom would want to get married again after Harry. She thought her mom just wanted someone to talk to, not be with."

"Oh," I said. "I guess I can understand that. But still did it make her that mad?"

"Well," he said "She got upset and left, said she wanted to do some thinking. That was about a week ago and she hasn't came back yet. We can contact her sometimes when she is phased but she is blocking her thoughts from us."

I wasn't sure what to say, should I go tell Charlie and Sue congrats? did mom know about it? I wasn;t sure what all was going on. We sat there talking alittle more about it. "I guess I will go see Charlie and Sue tomorrow." I said. "I wonder if mom knows yet."

"She does." Jacob said "She was excited that your dad found someone again." It was strange to know that my Charlie was getting married again, it was odd enough when my mom did it but Charlie, he just didn't seem like the commitment type. But I was happy for him.

The next morning I got ready and headed to Charlies house. I wanted to congradulate him and Sue. When I got there Sue answered the door. "Hi Bella," she said "Come in."

I went inside and sat at the table near Charlie. "I heard the good news." I said smiling at them both. "Congrats on the engagment."

"Thanks Bella." Charlie said smiling back.

"Yes," Sue said. "I'm glad you are happy about it." Sue gave me a hug, I could tell she was worried about Leah.

"And I'm sorry about Leah," I said "I heard what happened with her too."

Charlie and Sue looked at each other then at me. "Yes," Sue said "She took it rather hard."

"I'm sure she will come around and be happy for you two." I said trying to cheer her up. She smiled at me and we continued to talk.

After awhile I left and headed home, I couldn't help but wonder where Leah was and what she was thinking. I know it is hard when your parents get remarried although it was different in her case. He father was killed and she was older then I was. I really don't remember much about my parents together. But still I know it is hard when your mom marries someone other then your dad. I like Phil and all but it was strange when mom married him. Mostly cause he is so much younger. I wished I could find Leah and talk to her, I know I'm not her favorite person but I kind of know how she feels. I may be able to help her.

Once I got home I told Edward and the others how it went. They were all excited for Charlie. They really like him and want him happy. Alice and Rosalie were most excited just cause they love weddings. Alice does like Charlie though but she loves parties and stuff as well. Esme went to talk to Sue about what she could do to help with their wedding. They weren't planning to get married until Christmas, but like Rosalie and Alice would say. 'It's never to early to start planning.' I figure we will be hearing alot about the wedding between now and then anyway.

The next few days went like always, the kids went to school and ever since Rosemary learned to control her power she has seemed more happy. Even Anthony has been doing well, which is odd since he recently found out he was a wolf. I remember when Jacob went through that, he was a reck. So emotional and confused. I guess it is different with Anthony cause he knew before it happened that is was a possiblity and what it was. He even seems to handle the imprinting well. Jacob was always with Renesmee, but with Anthony he doesn't always have to be with Addison. Although he is happy to see her almost everyday. Edward and I went hunting with the others tonight. We decided to go alittle farther north to find something other then deer. I was getting tired of just hunting on deer. We spent most of the night out hunting.

When we got back it was morning and the kids were getting ready for school. Like always Renesmee and I took them and dropped them off. We watched as they went inside, then we left. On the way home Renesmee and I did some talking about thinkgs that have happened lately. The imprinting and wolf changing, and even Charlie getting married. It was such a great time, I enjoyed talking to her about everything. Watching the kids grow up makes me realize what I missed with renesmee, but I would never change it for anything. My life wasn't always full of pleasent moments, but to me it was perfect. Perfect with all of the crazy things that go on.
