"Mom and dad come back tomorrow!" Kylie says running into my room shocked. I feel as if a wave has just hit me hard. Mom and dad are back... Tomorrow.

I sit up in my bed and take a good look of my surroundings. My room is a mess. An absolute tip. I get out of bed and walk around the house ever so slowly, peeking my head in each room before entering them. It looks like a bomb has hit each room and exploded causing everything to just be everywhere.

I run upstairs knowing I need to tidy and that's the only mission that's on my mind. Tidy. Tidy. Tidy. Mom. Mom. Mom. Dad. Dad. Dad.

I run around my room, hanging up my clothes from the floordrobe to the wardrobe. I quickly dust around my room making sure I don't miss anything.
"Al, you tidy downstairs and I'll tidy upstairs okay?" Kylie says running into my room with the duster. I start to sneeze (I'm allergic to dust). I nod my head to agree and then I run downstairs and begin to tidy up the kitchen. I wipe the work tops and empty the bins to show any evidence that we've had takeouts every night that they've been away. I throw out the out of date food from the fridge too.

I run around with the Hoover around the lounge and then dust every where downstairs.

"Done!" I shout to Kylie. I collapse onto the sofa and sigh heavily after closing my eyes and letting myself sink. After a minute or two, I'm joined by Kylie who repeats my actions of the sighing, closing her eyes and sinking.
"I'm boiling," i sigh. She opens the window behind us letting the spring breeze blow in our faces - it's refreshing.

I see Katie stood by front door. Before she knocks I open the door and she falls in. I let out a for of laughter and she gives me a nasty look but then can't help but laugh too. I let her in my house and then I take her to my room where we sit and have a chat. We talk about school which starts on Monday, we've had the week off.
"I'm going to Blue Coat High School?" She says as if it's a question. I shrug my shoulders and she laughs,
"No silly, that's where I am going." I frown confused but I shrug it off before I confuse myself even more.
"That's my school!" I smile. She claps her hands and then she starts chatting away about her old school she went to and how strict it was. I can't help but let my mind drift off to a world of its own...

I'm looking forward to Mom and dad back tomorrow because then it's back to normal routines and organisation. I'm not looking forward to the moans and groans, the nags, the shouts, but I am looking forward to a nice home cooked meal. I wonder if Kylie will still be nice to me when mom and dad are back or if it's just a temporary thing because she has no choice but to socialise with me.

I finish up yet another Chinese takeaway, but this time Katie stayed to eat with us too. I don't think I can touch another Chinese without barfing all over the place, it's making me gag just the thought of what I've just ate. It's either been pizza or Chinese, and it's mostly been Chinese since mom and dad have been away. Kylie hasn't complained but yet complimented the food and how lucky we are that mom and dad went away.
"Okay so seeing as you've given me loads of tips about all sorts, I wanna ask some advice that's just the key to success..." I begin saying to Kylie,
"How do you sweet talk mom and dad all the time? And the teachers? Like you never get told off!" She smiles and laughs to herself. She looks up and puts her long glossy black hair behind her shoulders before she speaks.
"Now, that is something I can't give out. That's my little secret." She says winking to me as she watches me clean the dishes.
"Oh come on Kylie, it's only me!" I whine as I stare at her doing puppy eyes and bottom lip.
"I'd like to hear this!" Katie says smiling. Kylie rolls her eyes and stands up giving Katie a weird look.
"It's called sweet talking, maybe you should try it sometime," she hisses before walking out the kitchen and up to her room. Katie turns to me and says,
"I don't think you sister likes me." I twitch my nose ad shrug my shoulders, not knowing what to respond.
"Well I mean have you seen the nasty looks I get and the way she hisses at me as she speaks?" Kylie is a snake. She hisses as she speaks to people in disgust and she's sly. She slithers around hissing and trying to find ways to tangle people up. She creeps about ever so slyly and she never gets caught. Where as, I'm more of a spider. I try creeping about but my web gets broke and I fall down and get caught. I got no camouflage so I simply just get caught. A snake can be a pet that people find interesting and learn to like. Spiders are gross and nobody wants to look at them and nobody likes them. Just like me and Kylie. She's interesting, and I'm just seriously not.
"Don't take it too personally. Matter of fact, don't take anything about Kylie seriously," I say to Katie.
