Narration:

The game between the Berk Institute Valkyries and Sunny Hills Conservatory Huntresses went underway. The 'Valkyries' had a slow start in the first quarter but immediately turned things around when Astrid Hofferson gained momentum as she drained 3 threes-in-a-row.

Astrid Hofferson was the motor for the 'Valkyries' offense and also their anchor in defense.

The crowd slowly lost its voice when they saw Astrid Hofferson dismantling their women's basketball team.

The 'Valkyries' secured the win, 87 - 54.

Hiccup's POV

Since our game was scheduled after lunch, we ate at a fast food restaurant near their school since eating at their Mess Hall seemed like a bad idea after seeing how aggressive the crowd was towards us.

I wasn't able to go with Astrid since we needed to be back at the gym before 1:30 pm even though the game isn't starting until 2 pm.

I decided to get a quick nap, I woke up after feeling a nudge on my leg. "Hey, wake up. Our game is about to start." Fishlegs told me, I rubbed my eyes as I sat up and stretched my limbs.

Third Person's POV

The game between the 'Hunters' and the 'Dragons' were announced, both the teams went to the court and shook hands with each other. The heckles and the 'OVERRATED' chants were louder than before.

Both teams walked to their designated benches, "Hiccup, can you play?" Coach E asked, "I want to shut them up coach." Hiccup replied and the other 'Dragons' were hyped up, "That's the spirit! Let's shut them up!" Coach E exclaimed, "Yes coach." the whole team replied.

Hiccup's POV

I removed my team jacket and tucked in my jersey, I took out the ninja style headband from my bag and was about to wrap it on my wrist when Astrid and I made eye contact as they were heading back to stands. Astrid walked closer to our bench, "Hi." I greeted, "Hey. Need help?" she pointed at the headband that I have been tying around my wrist, "Sure." I replied as she took my hand and began tying it, I couldn't stop myself from looking at her.

"All done." Astrid smiled, "Thanks." I told her, she offered to do our secret handshake and of course, I accepted it. "Kill it out there, babe." I vaguely heard her because of the crowd, I smiled in reply before heading out to the court.

I'm feeling more excited seeing them heckling, "This is gonna be fun." I smiled. This kind of atmosphere was electrifying in its own way, hearing their heckles and curses were fueling me to play even better.

The tip-off started the ball game and Chandler got us the first possession of the game, I waited for everyone to be at their spots before making any moves. I was looking at everybody, thinking of what to do then I saw Chandler in the middle, I threw him a bullet pass for the first points of the game.

Third Person's POV

Hiccup was controlling the flow of the whole first quarter but not through scoring but through passing.

Everyone in the crowd thought that he couldn't find any chance to score and that's why he was only passing the ball so the heckles and chants were louder than ever.

They didn't know that it was all Hiccup's intention, so in the few minutes remaining in the quarter, Hiccup decided to get some buckets so in every possession until the time expired, he put up threes which he all drained. The heckles and chants toned down a little seeing that he had no problems of scoring.

Hiccup was taunting the crowd, he was holding his hand onto his ears while walking to their bench.

At the end of the first quarter, the 'Dragons' led the game, 39 - 22. Hiccup tallied only 9 points but his assists were off the chart with 11, he also had 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block.
