Chapter Forty

Dalawang araw ng nagmumukmok si Emi simula nong nagtalo sila ng kuya niya. Her parents are both anxious to what's happening to both their children. Craig is troubled, Emi is hysterical. Ni hindi alam ang gagawin upang magkaayos ang mga ito.

Craig could no longer hold his shit together at inabangan na nga niya itong si Cley sa dating skwelahan niya upang komprontahin ito. He's desperate. His anger rised up to his limit na kung pwede ay pagmumurahin niya ito. Nang dahil sa lalakeng iyon ay masisira ang pangarap ng kapatid niya. Pagkalabas ni Cley sa exit ng campus ay alam na nito agad na siya ang pakay ni Craig, kaya pinauna na lang niya sina France at Shun na umuwi.

Alam niyang hindi magiging maganda ang pag-uusap nila ni Craig ngunit kung ano man iyon ay hindi na niya hahayaang husgahan siya nito. He'll make sure to defend himself the best possible way.

"It's my fault. Don't ever blame Emi with your misinterpretation." deretso niyang sabi. Ayaw niyang sumama ang loob ni Craig sa nakababatang kapatid kaya kung maari ay aakuin niya ang kung ano mang kasalanan iyon.

Whilst, Craig is a bit uncomfortable of how this guy infront him covering it up tho he doesn't have any idea what's his blameworthiness. Nagpapanggap lang ba itong maamong pusa, kahit na kilala ito sa pagiging walang pakealam at walang puso?

"What's your deal? Anong plano mo sa kapatid ko? Pwede bang..." he paused. "Sa ibang babae ka na lang? Napakabata pa niya para bilugin mo utak niya." if not just because Emi ay nasuntok na niya ito.

"What exactly you came here for?"

"What I came here for? For you to stay away from her and let her live what's best for her. For you to know, ayaw na niyang tumuloy sa London dahil sayo." he hissed in anger.

Cley's eyes narrowed, his hands shivered, and he's stunned like a statue. W-why Emi? That can't be happening. He didn't ask that to happen, he swore to all the gods existed, he would never ever asked Emi to do that. Even if it will kill him, he would love to see her leave, achieved her dreams. How can he became the reason to stopped her? Did he took so far? Mali bang sulitin nila ang oras sa isa't isa habang andito pa siya?

"Look what you made her do. You will ruin her bright future, just because of that childish infatuation."

Craig might be true. Emi might just be infatuated.

"And you, embers more fire to her desire. Your tricks were effective, Cley."

He just let his humiliation continue to shower in his ears. Hearing those aren't the thing now, but Emi to push through London.

"Well, that's what you want right? You succeed with your perfect tricks. Hope you are feeling good about that, Moron" akmang aalis na siya ng magsalita si Cley.

"I can't do that." when Craig looked at him, tears are building up on the corners of his eyes. Parang piniga ang puso ni Craig sa nasaksihan. This is not true. It can't be true this guy is in love with his sister. That those tears are for her.

"Can't do what? You still have the guts of wiping your ass to deny it? How dumb do you think I am?"

"I can't....hurt her" lumalim ang paghinga nito hanggang sa nagsitulo na ang mga luha sa pisngi. " but if that's what convinced her to fly London, I'll do that."
