Chapter 3: Up on the Mountain

Sidon:

I stand at the top of the mountain keeping the sludge from entering the Zora water system as I have for days. Then I hear a rustling. Behind me. Then I feel a small hand on me. Then an arm. My leg... is being hugged? I look down. It's the Tiny Hylian! I scoop him up into my arms. He beams. I missed him so. 

   "Hello Sidon," Link whispers, "I missed you."

"I can tell." I let out a little chuckle. Then I bring my face to his and kiss his lips. I pull away, and he blushes. Oh. Wait. What did I just do? "I'm so sorry!" I exclaim. I should never have done that! Link doesn't have any feelings for me of course! He probably isn't even gay! Being cold blooded is the only thing keeping me from blushing my face off. He just smiles. He doesn't talk much, but that just makes him cuter. Then he hops down to the ground.

Link: 

I... I can't believe it! Did Sidon just... kiss me? I didn't even say anything! Does he really... Before I could finish my thought, a Zora woman walks up next to Sidon.

Yona:

I miss Sidon. I haven't seen him for about a week now. but now that I am here, he is looking at me in utter shock! And what it this? Is it the tiny Hylian that Sidon always talks about? Well, I might as well be ladylike and greet him.

"Hello Link," I say elegantly, "Sidon talks about you every day! I am delighted to finally meet you." I smile at him to be kind.

"Every... day?" Link replies in a shaky whisper. His face turns red.

"You seem troubled." I reply. I am starting to suspect some things. From Sidon's surprised expression, to Link acting that way that he did when I mentioned how much Sidon talks about him. Heck! Even the part that Sidon talks about him so much! Something is definitely up.

Sidon:

Yona defiantly suspects something. Oh great. She is giving me the "I'm your fiancé b*tch!" look. I have to say something.

"So, Link is here to help us with the sludge that has plagued our Domain since the Upheaval." I say with authority. Yona still isn't convinced. She rolls her eyes. And begins to speak.

"Well first, we need to find king Dorphean. There are some kids in the throne you can gather intel from. I heard from someone that we need to 'Stand upon the land of the sky fish, and behold its lofty view. Among the floating rocks you see, a droplet waits for you. Through this droplet, shoot an arrow with the mark of the king. Do this task, and you shall reveal a most wondrous thing. See the watery bridge's resting spot with your own two eyes... that which connects the Zora to the people of the skies.' The mark of the king is most likely one of Dorphean's scales. Go find him." She is still looking at me even though what she is saying is directed to Link.

"Okay." Link shrugs and hurries off.
