Sidon:

The following months go by in a blur. Most of the time, I'm just trying to keep Yona away from Link. But that only raises suspicion. The rest of the domain is also wondering why they aren't getting appearances by their beloved King (Sir) Link.

"Yona, can you please cover me for a moment? I need to go to my room to... grab something." I ask.

"Grab something?" She glares in suspicion, and crosses her arms.

"Yeah..."

"What are you grabbing?" As soon as she asks my mind goes blank. "Well, Sidon? I asked you a question." I just freeze. "You know what? I'm going up there!"

"Wait! No!" I reach my hand to stop her, but she easily avoids it.

"Too bad!" She rushes up to Link and I's room to see what's going on. I follow. But I can only watch in horror as she opens the door. I see Link covered up in a blanket sitting in a chair facing the window. He has a cup of coffee on the window sill, and a book in his hands.

"Hi Sidon." Link says with a yawn still reading his book.

"Actually, it's Yona."

"Y-yona?" Link stutters and turns his head to face us.

"WHY DOES EVERYONE FIND MY PRESENCE FRIGHTENING?" Yona screams.

"What makes you think that?" Link laughs awkwardly. Yona rolls her eyes. "Can you please leave? I just... need some alone time."

"You have had alone time for FIVE FUCKING MONTHS!!!"

"It's... complicated."

"Well, I don't care! Just tell me already!" Yona is getting livid. Link looks at me desperately. I just shrug.

"You have to promise not to tell anyone!"

"Me? spread information? Never!" We both glare. "Okay. Maybe. But I SWEAR not to tell."

Link sighs and stands up. "there might be a slight chance that... I'm six months pregnant." Link blushes.

"Yeah. I can see that." Yona's eyes widen. "But. How?!"

"It's... a long story." I answer.

"I find myself not needing to know." Yona replies. "I'll be leaving now." She leaves stiffly, and kind of uneasy.

Link sits back down, and I walk in the room.

"What are you reading?" I ask.

"Nothing..." He hides the book in his arms.

"Come on, you can show me." He holds up his book to show me. 'A Dummies Guide to Parenting.' I can't help but giggle.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me! I'm new to this shit too!"

"I'm not laughing!" We both smile.

"Well, shouldn't you go back outside? It's only 4 PM."

"Nah. Yona should be covering for me. I can stay."

"Okay. We can have some nice quality time then!" Link turns his chair to face me.

"So, how's it going! When I see you, you're usually asleep."

"Just fine. A little painful at times, but it will all be worth it. How are you."

"Busy, a lot of questions,  and pretty stressful. But I always look forward to seeing you every night. Even if you're asleep."

"Aww, Thanks!" Link replies. We continue our conversation for another few hours. But Link starts to get tired as the sun starts to set. I pick him up and move him to the bed. We both fall asleep fairly quickly. But I awake at some time late at night to link kicking my chest.

"Link... stop kicking me please." I'm still half asleep.

"Whaddya mean? I'm not kicking you. You're kicking me. From... the inside of my body."

We both come to the same realization at the same time.

"Uhhhh.... I don't know how to react to this." Link stares up at the ceiling.

"Neither do I." We both go back to sleep for another couple of hours before the sun rises. When I wake, Link is still sleeping. Good for him. I get ready, and as soon as I go to the throne room, I hear the buzzing about Link. And as soon as they spot me, they immediately stop. I see Yona standing bashfully.

"Seriously Yona?"

"I didn't mean too!"

"What do you mean you didn't mean too!"

"I only told one person!"

"This is clearly not one person."

"I said I only told one person. Muzu. He wondered where I was, and why I looked so distraught. So I told him. Then some kids overheard, and told their parents! It escalated pretty fast. So I guess there is nothing to hide now."

"I guess so." I walk to the center of the throne room. "Attention citizens of Zora's Domain!" People hear me, and start to come forward. "I apologize for not telling you the news of Sir Link. It was a very personal matter to us, and I didn't want it to spread. I'm sorry if this seems selfish,  but I felt that it was right." I brace myself for the boos sure to come from the audience. But they are surprisingly understanding. Then I feel little hands on me, hugging my leg. It's the same kid that gave Link a drawing.

"Tank you for keeping my hewo safe." She beams at me. "You're the best king in the entire world!"

"Aww. Thank you!" I get down and pat her head. She is probably no more than three (Zora) years old. Then she scampers back to her mother, and hides behind her. Her brother gives her a thumbs up. People return to their activities, but continue to gossip about Link.

"Do you think the baby will be a Hylian, or Zora?"

"I wonder if it's a boy or a girl!"

"I hope it's a girl!"

"Is he going to have twins?"

"This is why I didn't want you telling." I glare at Yona. She pretends not to hear me. "Ugh. Just cover me for thirty minutes." Yona nods her head in embarrassment. I head back up. The last time I was this mad, was when Yona spilled about our wedding. I get back to our room to see Link getting dressed. When I open the door, he jumps and looks over.

"Sidon? Why are you here?" He sounds confused as he slips on his shirt.

"I just wanted to tell you that Yona spilled."

"Of course she did." Link sighs.

"So... do you want some fresh air?" I ask.

"Hell yeah!" I open the door for him. He puts on some shoes, and walks out. "Good to be back." He takes a big breath. As soon as we emerge from the stairs, people rush towards us.

"It's him!"

"I can't believe it!

"Sir Link!"

But one small child pushes herself to the front of the crowd.

"Remember me Sir Link?"

Link:

"Of course I remember you!" I hug the small Zora.

"My name is Lahruna. Mommy calls me Lara, but my brother calls me bitch. Mommy doesn't like it when he does that."

"Don't say that word, Lahruna." I explain seriously to the child.

"Okay. Sorry. But why did you stay away from us? I was really scared." She stares into my eyes with fear.

"I just needed some alone time. That's all. But I'm back now." Lahruna smiles and toddles back to her mom. Such a sweet kid.
