I can't believe it! I thought Sidon meant it when he kissed me! But still. I shouldn't have raged like that. I should go back and apologize. But just then, after about an hour of searching, I think I see something behind the waterfall. I swim behind it, and see the large, empowering figure of Dorphean. But "sludge" as they call it, is infesting his gills.
"Great Hylia! Are you okay!" I ask panicked.
"Yes. I'm fine. I am just staying here not to worry the citizens of the Domain." He stops for a moment and coughs. "I will recover soon. But before you leave, I need to tell you something."
"What is it?" I ask, genuinely curious.
"You make my son happy. Very happy."
"Gee. Thanks!" I rub my neck bashfully.
"Much happier than Yona has ever made him!"
"Huh?" I don't really know Sidon's relationship to Yona so I might as well question.
"Oh! You don't know? Yona is Sidon's fiancé."
"FIANCE?" I can't believe he kept that from me!
"Oh yes. But Sidon never had feelings for Yona. You see, he hasn't had attraction to any Zora women. Yona just happened after Muzu's best interests on what was 'best' for the kingdom. That homophobic brat!"
"Does that mean...?"
"Yes indeed!" Dorphean seems surprised that I didn't know. But I can feel my face start to brighten. Then I finally tell him why I'm here.
"Go on," Dorphean chuckles, "Tell him you found me. Fight that goddamn sludge!" He ushers me out, and tosses me the scales. I left happier than I came in. That's for sure! Now we can continue with our quest. Now I just have to find the sky-fish and droplet.
