I was following after Kohaku's Jewel Shard, but not with the earnest that I should have because it's been a week since I left him with Sesshomaru. "Maybe, I'm just trying to get myself together before facing them, but right now I just feel hopeless." I think as I get up from the place I was sitting and begin walking through the forest I was in almost life-less.
"Why did I make them such a promise?" I ask as a restless wind blew threw me making me stop in my tracks. "It almost feels as if Kagura's scolding me." I think with a slight chuckle as I look up at the sky above me.
"I must look like a joke to them right now..." I trail off as I felt pain from my swollen eyes making me shut them.
(To Byakuya)
Flying through a mountain range, massive holes in the mountains could be visibly noticed.
"Judging by the damage, this must quite the battle." Byakuya speculates as he lands on the ground using his origami crane and then off of it on to the ground. Grabbing his sword, Byakuya placed the tip of it on the ground causing demons to form from the ground.
"Now then, Rock Children. What happened here? I want you to tell me everything you saw and heard." Byakuya instructs causing the Demon's to make noises. However, Byakuya understood what they were saying and was informed about the battle between Sesshomaru and another Demon who wielded the same attack Meido Zangetsuha that damaged the surrounding area.
(To Kohaku)
He was sitting around a fire with Jaken and Rin, while Entei laid by A-Uh with a anxious expression.
"Hey. Uh, Master Jaken, where did Lord Sesshomaru go? He's been gone a while." Rin points out causing Jaken to sigh once more.
"It pains me to consider how Lord Sesshomaru must be feeling right now. After painstakingly training with Tenseiga, he learns that it was but a part of Tessaiga, the sword bequeathed to Inuyasha of all people. I cannot be sure where Lord Sesshomaru went. Having said that, I've got a pretty good idea." Jaken informs, but then Rin turns to Kohaku, who was starring down at the fire with a worried expression.
"Kohaku?" Rin questions, but there was no answer causing her to move closer to him.
"Kohaku, are you ok?" Rin asks causing him to finally be pulled from his thoughts.
"Oh, sorry. Rin.. I'm just worried about Lady (Y/N)." Kohaku answers making Rin nod.
"I know what you mean, she said she'd be right back, but it's been a almost 7 days since she left." Rin asserts causing Jaken to scoff.
"Knowing that girls she's perfectly fine." Jake mutters with an annoyed expression.
"I hope so..." Kohaku trails off as he glances over at Entei, who was starring up at the sky.
(To Sesshomaru)
he lets off a Meido Zangetsuha towards Totosai, who had all his stuff packed and was about to leave.
"What have you done to my home?!" Totosai exclaims as he sees a part of his home has a hole in it.
"Did you really think you could escape, Totosai?" Sesshomaru asks causing Totosai to slowly turn to him.
"No, I figured you'd show up here sooner or later." Totosai answers causing Sesshomaru to scoff.
(To (Y/N) )
"Maybe I should just give up..." I trail off as I open my eyes. "I haven't done anything but get manipulated and either tried to kill someone or let them die." I think as I ball my hands up in fists.
