Wind Scar!" Inuyasha shouts as the blast of energy heads straight for the wall, and it begins to dissipate, causing my eyes to widen. "Not as if I thought Kagome would lie to me, but hearing about it and seeing it in action are two different things." I think as a smirk appears on Inuyasha's face, his sword turns back to its normal color.

"I knew it! It was just a barrier!" Inuyasha proclaims, but we then see a tornado rush past us.

"That wasn't bad for a mutt like you!" Koga calls out as he looks back to see Inuyasha glaring at him.

"What did you say?!" Inuyasha exclaims with an angry expression.

"Koga, wait!" Ginta wails, running past Inuyasha, while Koga looks back at me.

"Don't you worry, (Y/N). I'll save Kagome next!" Koga made known, causing me to sigh as I saw him disappear in the distance.

"Slow down, boss!" Hakkaku bellows as he rushes after Koga as well.

"Hey!" Inuyasha bellows, causing me to scoff.

"That was expected..." I trail off, causing Inuyasha to glance over at me.

"We're here, Inuyasha!" I hear Shippo's voice ring out, causing us both to look back.

"It took you long enough!" Inuyasha nags as I see Kirara land with Songo, Miroku, and Shippo riding her.

"(Y/N)!" Shippo cries out as he jumps to me, and I catch him.

"Sorry, did I worry you?" I ask, causing him to nod.

"We're glad you're safe," Songo answers as I look over to them. "I think you and Shippo are the only ones..." I think with a slight smile.

"Where is Kagome, and what is that?" Miroku questions, looking behind Inuyasha and me.

"The castle entrance. The cats must be hiding somewhere inside it." Inuyasha responds as he sheaths his sword, while turning away from them.

"If they're around, Kagome must be here, too." Shippo points out, and I nod.

"Yeah, let's go." Inuyasha insists, while running, as Shippo jumps onto my shoulder, and I rush after him. "I'm a little concerned about what the cats were talking about before Koga showed up... That woman, Tōran said, she wanted to use me as bait, but for whom?" I wonder, as I look over to see Kirara flying beside me. Suddenly, we come to huts, causing us to start walking through with confused expressions.

"What is this place?" Inuyasha asks as we begin looking around.

"It seems like a regular village," Songo answers, as Shippo crawls down from my shoulder, causing me to hold him in my arms.

"You know, it's a pretty good-sized town built around the castle," Miroku adds.

"But it feels empty..." I trail off as Shippo jumps down.

"Why here, of all places? What's a village doing here?" Shippo questions as he rushes over to one of the huts and opens the door. Walking into the hut, I follow after Shippo along with Songo.

"No one seems to be here," Songo responds as she walks out.

"Empty Village, was it the Cats doing?" I wonder as I walk after Songo to see Miroku walking out of the hut that was across from the one we were in.

"No one's around, but it looks like people live here. Also, there's no sign of Koga and his men, either." Miroku states as he looks over at me.

"Yeah." Inuyasha agrees as he looks over at me as well.
