Mr. Forkle p.o.v

As the dagger changed against Gethen's skin, he felt his thirst for revenge die...
He had killed someone,
In front of Sophie, who was like a daughter to him, weather she knew it or not,

A whole lot of guilt flashed on top of his head, threatening to break him, tears threatened to pour down his face, but he blinked them back.

Don't let the thoughts get to you, he thought as he collapsed to his knees in shock.

Sophie

Mr. Forkle collapsed to his knees, his face very pale with shock.

She quickly inflicted on every Neverseen member and transmitted,
I'll take care of Mr. Forkle.

"Hey" She said, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Sophie," He rasped,
"I-I k-k-killed h-him" His voice broke and he wiped his misty eyes.
"But you did the right thing, you have to always remember that, you avenged your brother, you avenged me. And no matter what the others think, I'll always be grateful to you for that. You risked your sanity. Your life. And... I don't know how I can ever thank you," Sophie said.
"You never have too, Sophie." Mr. Forkle whispered.
"Thank you for the life you gave me. Thank you for creating me, for letting my soul be born into this beautiful world." She said, hugging him, he hugged her back. She pulled out and whispered.
"You did the right thing. Life is full of hard choices," She said, quoting him. Mr. Forkle smiled,
"Go fight, my brave Moonlark." He said, blinking hard.
"What's the matter?" She asked.
"Nothing... I'm just worried this is the last time I'm going to see you," Mr. Forkle replied, his voice thick.
"Listen, no matter what, I'm not going to let them take me, or Keefe or you or any of my friends. Everyone will survive. Everyone has to survive." Sophie whispered the last part.
"In case I don't survive, remember that I will always watch out for you from the Spirit Realm, and will always guide you any way I can." He said.

The battle went on and on, and every Neverseen member was gone.

They'd won! thought Sophie, but the victory didn't last long as she saw the broken bodies of Tiergan and Blur and Wraith. Mr. Forkle knelt beside Tiergan, his eyes shining with tears as he looked at her. The battlefield smelled like blood, and Sophie looked around at the destruction. But nothing lasted long.

"Sophie!" Someone called, she didn't know who, but the next second,

The world went black

Keefe p.o.v

He saw Sophie collapse and ran to her... was she feeling guilt? Was she in shock? Was-
His train of thought was cut off as everyone stared at Sophie as she told a... prophecy.

"Travel north, travel north,
Across the great fields of Elysian,
And you will find the field of the Blazing Star flowers,
The true evil will truly be gone without the flower,
No world will truly be perfect,

Secrets lie across fields,
Secrets to be discovered,
If the field of Stars is not discovered,
Time itself will end.

Search, search, search,
The Blazing Star must be found,
For it's petals are meant to heal, to fix,
Face a great evil with hands united,
Or none of the worlds will survive,

Beware of whom you trust,
For even the most trustworthy will turn out heartless and cruel,
Remember, if Blazing Star is not found,
The destroyer will arrive,
And time will end." Sophie finished, her eyes fluttering open.

"What was that?" Asked Keefe,
"A prophecy," Mr. Forkle whispered hoarsely, wiping his eyes. He was worried for the big guy because he'd just been through a lot, first he met his dead twin, second he killed Gethen and third he'd lost a trusted member of the Black Swan and was currently grieving, a lot.

"Well, we can think about that later... why don't we relax for now," Foster suggested, but she immediately ran to Tiergan's body, checking his pulse.
"Nothing," She said sadly and tears swarmed in her eyes.
"Look," Mr. Forkle said, placing a steady hand on her shoulder.
"Tiergan wouldn't want this, so you kids should leave now and I'll clean up here," His voice broke as he looked at Tiergan.
"No way! I'm not leaving you to face this alone!" Sophie protested.
"I can't make you change your mind, can I?" Mr. Forkle asked, sighing.
"Nope!" Foster said.

So everyone started cleaning up. But suddenly, a figure burst in. A figure that couldn't, couldn't, possibly be alive.

"I'll tell you how I'm here. Long story short, my spirit found a way out of the miserable torture chambers. Just that, if I die now, my soul will disappear forever."
"Thought you won, didn't you?" His mother, Lady Gisela, asked, and she lunged for Sophie's heart.

Sophie:
And she lunged for her heart.

But just as she neared and Sophie failed to move out of the way, Keefe intercepted. Lady Gisela tried to move her spear, but she was too late. The spear plunged through Keefe's heart, and he lay limp at her feet.

"Keefe! KEEFE! KEEFE!" She yelled, running towards her love.
"Sophie," He said, his voice barely audible.
"You can't fix me, Sophie. She plunged the spear through my heart. There's no fix now."
"I accept that, I'm so, so sorry" Sophie whispered.
"You don't have to be, I Sencened it, for the first time!" Keefe said, pretending to go limp.
"Really, Keefe? This is no time for jokes!" She hissed.
"Hey! You always Fostered it! It's my turn too... Sencen it!" Keefe whispered jokingly.
"Keefe, I can't live without you! I love you!" Sophie whispered, tears falling from her face.
"I can see him, Sophie. I can see Mr. Forkle... he's coming to take me... you can't save me, Foster... it's too late... He's coming to take me!"
"I promise one thing, Sophie, I'll always watch over you. And no matter what, I want you to be happy. I'll see you again tonight! And, I love you, Sophie! Goodbye, my Foster!" He whispered before the light died out of his eyes.

I'll see you again tonight! Keefe meant she'd see him in her dreams.

"Goodbye, my Keefe!" She whispered to Keefe before she hissed in fury.

"You killed your own son!" She hissed at Lady Gisela.
"I meant to kill you, not my son. But I should've known my foolish son would've jumped in. What a shame," Lady Gisela said menacingly, and Sophie couldn't. Take. This. Any. More.

So, before Lady Gisela knew what was happening, she grabbed a the spear and plunged into Lady Gisela's heart. Lady Gisela crumpled to the floor.

"NO!" She said, before she hissed at Sophie.
"Because of you, my soul will vanish. I will fade away from here, and I won't exist anymore. You ruined everything, Sophie! My plans, they weren't evil. Our world is broken!" Lady Gisela said.
"Mabye. I get your intentions, Lady Gisela. But you were wrong. Our world won't be fixed by you taking over. You show no mercy, no empathy for those in need. You just want power. But... that isn't the solution. The solution is to be kind, courageous, determined, not evil. I'm very sorry. No person should fade from existence like this, but I'm not sorry for ending you. Your son isn't your puppet. You didn't give him a choice, unlike my creators did. You forced him, mabye if you hadn't, then he would've survived." Sophie hissed.
"Sophie... you... will do great things. And now I see that I'm wrong. I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me. I deserve to fade from the world. Don't feel guilty." Lady Gisela said with warmth. Her figure was very light, it was barely visible.
" Lady Gisela, we may have hated each other. We may have fought each other. You may have hurt me. But we shared one thing in common: your son. You and I both loved your son and though in different ways, we knew he would change the world. And... I thank you. Thank you for making me strong. For making more vigilant. More alert. I... forgive you." Sophie said.
"Thank you, Sophie Foster." Lady Gisela said, her figure gone.
"And remember, be alert, be vigilant, for those you trust most can turn out heartless and cruel. Be vigilant. Be brave, and above all, be courageous, Sophie," a voice that she assumed was Lady Gisela's told her.
"I am sorry, Sophie Foster, for making your challenges harder. Continue being the brave Moonlark you are. Goodbye..." Her whisper in the wind whispered and her voice went still.

Lady Gisela is gone. Sophie thought.
