Mr. Forkle P.O.V:

As he shifted back into focus after that... thing, Fitz and Keefe were standing beside each other looking at Sophie.  And the rest of her friends... were unconscious.

"What did you do to them?" He asked,

"Tricks. Now, it's good if you began the healing now." Keefe told him.

Mr. Forkle took a deep, shaky breath before he let his consciousness go into Sophie's complex mind.

Sophie P.O.V:

She loved staying in the nook. It was quiet, peaceful and amazing. An image of Keefe appeared before her.

"Sophie, your friends need you. You're their moonlark. And my death wasn't your fault!" She told herself that it was just her imagination playing with her, but then she realized it really was Keefe!

"No, Keefe. It was my fault. Fitz said so. And..." Sophie couldn't continue as more peices shattered around her. She sank deeper into her mind.

"Sophie, stop!" A new voice called out, and a hologram of the figure appeared.

"Mr. Forkle?" She asked, hardly believing her eyes. Keefe was dead, but Mr. Forkle wasn't. Unless this was the dead twin. But he didn't have stars woven into his skin, so he wasn't dead. He was the alive Forkle.

"Sophie, you have to stop. You're sinking deeper and... if we don't get you back...." He trailed off, getting on to his knees.

"Please." He whispered in his mental voice, choking slightly on the word.

"No, you don't understand. I'm useless. You're better off without me! Go and make another moonlark who's better than me. I'm not a success. I'm a fail. And... I thank you for trying but you're not going to convince me to come back up. Like I said, I'm a failure. Make a new moonlark. One that's smarter, stronger and better than me. You failed once, you won't fail again. Especially since this isn't even your fault. It's mine. So... don't bother trying to bring me back." Sophie whispered the last words. Once again, shards of memories exploded, and it was worse. But Sophie wasn't going to try and repair them.

"No!" Keefe interrupted when Mr. Forkle opened his mouth to speak. His expression looked hurt and pained.

"Sophie, you're not useless! I protected you because you were worth saving! You were worth me! You always will be, and you should accept that! You're amazing, and you're not a failed experiment! You are an amazing person and always will be!" Keefe cried out softly, his eyes shining brighter.

"I'm happy, Sophie. You took out my mother. And I never loved her. You got rid of her, forever. And for that... I thank you. My body is gone, but not my mind. My spirit still lurks, and I'm happy. I'll always stand by you, dead or alive, I'll always watch over you, and when you come over, we will be reunited. But until that happens, I want you to be happy. It was my dying wish, though I didn't say. I only want you to be happy." Keefe said, sorrow leaking into his features.

"But I miss you." She whispered,

"I do too." He whispered back.

"Sophie, please, let Mr. Forkle save you. You'll feel better, I promise you!" He exclaimed,

"I don't know. I really don't. What if I make everything worse?"

"You won't! We need you, Miss Foster. You are our moonlark. No one can replace you." Mr. Forkle whispered tightly, closing his eyes. Sorrow seeped in to his features. The shards repaired themselves, letting Sophie think better. But she wasn't healed completely.

"Nice!!!!" Keefe exclaimed,

"I...." She was lost for words.

"Please, don't do this. Get Linh or Marella or someone to lead you. Elysian's nice enough." She said to Keefe and Mr. Forkle. The shards of memories that were just repaired trembled.

"Sophie. PLEASE!!!" Keefe begged, and she closed her eyes. He wouldn't like her answer, but she wanted to be free of guilt. She wanted to be gone.

"Don't think like that, Sophie. You are our one and only moonlark!" Mr. Forkle cleared his imaginary throat.

"I'm sorry." And with those words, all of them sank deeper. Mr. Forkle looked haunted as they sank.

"I-I c-can't-" He collapsed in crumpled heap, tears of pain streaming down his cheeks. It made her feel worse. More shards collapsed, and they sank deeper. Mr. Forkle got up after the shock, wiping at his eyes.

"Please, Sophie, just come back. We'll like it if you do that." Mr. Forkle said. He was obviously getting weaker as they sank.

"You'll get lost. Stop." Sophie whispered.

"I will, but it's okay. If I get lost, at least I know I did everything in my power to get my moonlark back. We need her." Mr. Forkle whispered the last words, his eyes turning slightly glassy. She was done with this. She wasn't coming back.

"NO! GO AWAY!!!!!!!!" She screamed, and tears made themselves into Keefe's eyes. He held out his hand and whispered something she couldn't hear, and Mr. Forkle's expression was shocked. They screamed as cracks splintered around them, eventually exploding. And Sophie. Couldn't. Think. Her mind was... a web, a jungle. She didn't even know who she was.

She didn't know anything.

She could hear faint wails, but they soon disapeared.

And who was she? It was it.

It was done.

What would happen?

Nothingness streched far.

Done.

Sophie Foster was gone.

And who used to be Sophie Foster.

It was gone.

Forever.
