Biana P.O.V.

"Sophie! Sophie!" Biana cried, tears staring to come up. But now wasn't the time to cry- it was the time to help Sophie.

Sophie had just collapsed and she was so pale. Tears were frozen in place and she just wouldn't wake up. She almost looked like Alden when his mind broke...

Nope, she was not going down that path.

"Fitz, check her mind. Meanwhile I'm going to hail Leto and Sophie's parents. They deserve to see," Biana snapped at her brother. She didn't mean to- but he deserved it. He was the one who kept saying it was Sophie's fault. What if her mind broke because of Fitz...?

First, she hailed Sophie's parents. There had been surprisingly less tears, and they'd come over in an instant. When they'd seen Sophie's condition- along with her parents, the parents teared up.

Then she hailed Magnate Leto. He'd turned super pale and came over in less than ten seconds. What was going to happen next well, was going to happen next. She just hoped Sophie was okay.

Fitz pressed two fingers against Sophie's temples. And he immediately opened his eyes, collapsing in her father's arms and shivering.

"I take it that means...?" Leto asked, shadows darkening his features. But when he blinked, they were gone.

"May I?" He asked, and everyone nodded.

Hs pressed two fingers against her temples.

"Sophie!" Magnate Leto mentally called her. No answer. He could see shattered memories around him. And normally, he wouldn't survive longer here. But this was Sophie's brain and he'd programmed her brain to allow him in for two minutes should this have ever happened. And it did.

He could see her mind on one thing: Keefe sacrificing himself for her. Over and over, how Keefe died. She blamed herself, Magnate Leto realized. And he had to get out and tell the others the news, upsetting as it was.

Magnate Leto opened his eyes after about two minutes. And he looked... not pale, but a shade of light gray. She had never Magnate Leto look so nervous and gray.
"She's gone," He said, his voice cracking. He wiped his eyes. And Biana had to wipe some of her own tears away.
"I went in and it was a shattered mess. Her mind really is broken."  Tears were streaming down his cheeks by this point. A sob slipped through his lips, and he didn't try to wipe the tears away. No one did. Everyone was a shattered mess. Sophie was gone. And she could never be healed. No one could heal her.

"So... she's gone? Forever?" Edaline asked,
"No, I will find a way to heal her. But... she might remain as it is." Magnate Leto said, shadows darkening his already tear-stained face. Biana had never seen him cry so openly. He'd never shown a lot of emotion. And her world made so much more sense when he was confident and leading. But now... everyone was sobbing around Sophie's lifeless form. Della called Elwin, who checked her vitals and sedated her. He shooed everyone away from the room.

Magnate Leto buried his face in his hands, clearly stressed.  Everyone was crying silently, though Edaline was sobbing. And they hadn't even told the rest of Sophie's friends' yet. Soon, Leto left away with his pale face, glassy eyes, bags and a deep crease between his brows.

Biana sighed. What was going to happen? Sophie... she needed to come back. They all relied on Sophie for... everything. And she never recieved so much as a "Thank you," yet she still did it. But now...

Biana should have seen this coming. Simply put.

Time skip to three days later.

Biana was eating breakfast when something suddenly caught her attention. A quick movement. She wiped her tears away and looked up. What was going on? What the heck was going on? And why was no one looking up like her?

"Biana," a voice that belonged to no one she knew whispered.
"What?! What do you want? Are you one of the Neverseen? Have you come back? Because I. Don't. Care. Sophie is gone because of you!" Biana shouted, and wasn't worried that anyone could hear her, or even look at her weirdly.
"Biana, honey, I think... you're seeing things. I don't blame you. Perhaps you can go to your room and rest?" Her mother, Della Vacker, asked.
"I can't rest when Sophie's broken!" Biana protested,
Mom sighed. She sat back down, lost in her own thoughts. Both her parents were sobbing quietly. Sophie was like a daughter to them and like a sister to Biana.

"Biana... Sophie can be healed."
