"Isha, wake up! It's late already," Nisha's voice echoed from downstairs, breaking the morning silence.

Aisha lazily opened her eyes, realizing she had overslept. She rushed into the bathroom, taking a quick shower to shake off the sleepiness. Within fifteen minutes, she emerged, her hair hastily tied up in a messy bun. Scanning through her wardrobe, she settled on a bottle-green top and baggy black jeans, adding her favorite accessories for a touch of flair. A quick application of sunscreen, mascara, and lip gloss completed her morning routine as she hurried downstairs for breakfast.

"Mom, quickly, or I'll be late!" Aisha panted, grabbing a sandwich from her mother's outstretched hand before darting towards the door. "I'll have it on my way to school. Love you, bye!"

"I don't wanna go to college

"I don't wanna go to college. I'm tired already," I muttered to myself, feeling the weight of the early morning start. My subconscious voice mocked me, calling me lazy. "I love college, hate waking up early, hate the homework, exams, and those tyrant teachers. Ugh!"

At the bus stop, I waited impatiently for my ride. The bus arrived, unusually crowded, making it a challenge to find a seat. Finally spotting one, I moved to sit down when someone behind me pushed me and sat into the seat.

"Hey! I saw this seat first. Get up!" I exclaimed, turning to confront the person. To my surprise, it was him.

"You?!" We both exclaimed simultaneously, locking eyes in disbelief.

"What are you doing here? Get up, it's my seat" Aisha retorted, surprised and flustered to see me. Despite, I felt nervous around her, her presence always had a strange effect on me.

"Stop shouting, Aisha. You'll burst my eardrums! And I'm not moving" I replied defiantly, trying to maintain my composure. I couldn't deny that I missed this banter with Aisha, missed her fiery spirit that both infuriated and intrigued me.

"Then where the hell am I supposed to sit, Mr. Khadoos?" Aisha shot back, her frustration palpable.

"Well, there's no seat left and I don't mind if you want to sit on my lap! It's comfortable you know!" I said to her teasingly and her eyes widened with shock. I wish I could record this moment and watch it on loop.

It took a moment for me to process his words. "Did he just...? Ugh, what a pervert!" My cheeks warmed inexplicably, a feeling which I refused to acknowledge as embarrassment. "Am I... blushing? No way."

"Are you blushing, Aisha?" Yuvraj teased, his eyes locking mine with an intensity that momentarily disarmed me. "I didn't know I had that effect on you. Good to know."

"I'm not blushing!" I protested, trying to regain my cool demeanor. "It's just hot in here."

As I turned to walk away, the bus abruptly braked, causing me to stumble forward. With a sudden jolt, I found myself landing squarely on Yuvraj's lap.

The unexpected closeness left them both momentarily stunned, their eyes meeting in a mix of surprise and awkwardness. Aisha quickly scrambled to get back on her feet, cheeks burning with a mixture of annoyance and something she refused to acknowledge.

"I-I didn't mean to..." she stammered, flustered beyond belief.

Yuvraj chuckled softly, a rare gentleness in his expression. "Careful there, Aisha. You okay?"

Aisha nodded, avoiding his gaze. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I LANDED ON YUVRAJ'S FREAKING LAP!
