Adalyn was sitting on a bench as Elijah sat down next to her, the whole reason she even came to New Orleans was to help Hayley find her family or even learn about them. Elijah had just finished explaining their family background to the girl.

"Your dad was a dick and I'm Adalyn, by the way. You should probably know my name if you're gonna tell me your whole life story. I mean, I know yours. Your family is legendary. Your brother is a notorious psycho who I slept with, classic me," Adalyn rambled on

"I cannot excuse his behavior, but you must understand, when our father hunted him and hunted us for centuries, every time we found a moment of happiness, we were forced to flee. Even here, in New Orleans, where we were happiest of all, and not long after Niklaus broke the spell that prevented him from becoming a hybrid, he defeated our father. I thought this would make him happy but he was angrier than ever. I wonder if perhaps this baby might be a way for my brother to find happiness. A way to save him from himself," Elijah explained some more

"I'm glad you feel that way because we need your help," Sophie stated as she walked in

"What, precisely, is it that you want and what does it have to do with this young woman?" Elijah questioned the witch

"We want to run Marcel and his vampires out of town. Klaus is the key. Everything Marcel knows about being a vampire, he learned from Klaus. Marcel trusts him, looks up to him, and he won't see the betrayal coming," Sophie explained while crossing her arms

"Yes, well, as I'm sure you're aware, my brother Niklaus doesn't like to be told what to do," Elijah reminded the woman

"That's why I brought you here. Marcel drove the werewolves out of town decades ago so do you really think he's going to welcome a hybrid baby to the neighborhood? Convince Klaus to help us, and no one has to know about the newest member of the Original family," Sophie went on to explain some more

"That sounds remarkably like blackmail," Elijah remarked with a sigh

"Like I said, I'm desperate," Sophie remarked with a smirk

"Well, then, I have my work cut out for me, don't I?" Elijah spoke before walking out

If anyone had told Adalyn that she would be pregnant by Klaus Mikaelson then she would've laughed in their faces seeing how they had only done it that one time but here she was watching him stare at her bloated belly in disbelief.

"No, it's impossible," Klaus stated as Elijah nodded

"I said the same thing myself," Elijah admitted to his brother

"This is a lie and you are all lying, vampires cannot procreate," Klaus stated to the group

"But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf. You're the Original hybrid, the first of your kind and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes," Sophie stated causing Klaus to get upset

"You've been with someone else, admit it!" Klaus yelled at the human

"Hey, I've spent days held captive in a freaking alligator bayou because they think that I'm carrying some magical miracle baby, don't you think I would've fessed up if it wasn't yours?" Adalyn asked in a tone

"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy and because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. We can keep them safe or we can kill them. If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Adalyn won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress," Sophie stated making Adalyn look at her

"Wait, what?" Adalyn asked in shock

"Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself," Elijah stated to the witch

"No, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow, and there are rules," Sophie denied the vampire

"How dare you command me, threaten me, with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses and I won't hear any more lies," Klaus stated in more anger

"Niklaus! Listen," Elijah pleaded some more

"Kill her and the baby, what do I care?" Klaus stated before leaving

"Screw this, I'm out of here!" Adalyn stated trying to leave but was grabbed

"No one touches the girl, I'll fix this," Elijah spoke before leaving

Adalyn rubbed her belly in comfort as she was taken back to her room, she had just started to doze off when Klaus and Elijah had come to take her to their house in the city. She was amazed by the design of the place, as Klaus and Elijah gave her a small tour.
