𝗧𝗲𝗻, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀.

Adalyn was standing in front of the mirror trying to button and zip up her pants but it seemed that she was starting to gain more weight than she had planned, Klaus was standing in the doorway with a smirk as he watched the werewolf.

"Would you like some help?" Klaus asked as he walked in

"You might need to use all your strength and hanks, not too many pregnant Casket Girls, I guess," Adalyn joked looking at him

"I think you look lovely," Klaus spoke making her smile

"Yeah, all knocked up and nowhere to go," Adalyn remarked under her breath

"If you wanted to attend the festivities tonight, I would be more than willing to take you," Klaus stated making her pause

"Hmm, let's not rock the boat, okay?" Adalyn suggested making him nod

"Of course," Klaus agrees with her

"Klaus, I never go to thank you for protecting me when it came to Tyler," Adalyn spoke in a soft voice

"He was trying to hurt you and the babies, no need to thank me," Klaus stated as she shook her head

"I do though and I can't thank you enough for it," Adalyn stated before he nodded and walked out

Adalyn finished getting dressed before meeting with Rebekah to catch up with her friend, Klaus had let her off her leash long enough for her to hang out and get out of the house long enough to get some air.

"So the witch is missing, huh?" Adalyn questioned the blonde

"Walked right out of the front door, apparently, Do you know anything about it?" Rebekah asked her friend

"No, although I did tell her that the witch Elders were dead," Adalyn admitted with a sigh

"Well, why would she care, when the witches tried to kill her in their ritual?" Rebekah questioned some more

"I think it was more that Marcel didn't tell her that the one thing preventing her from being free had been eliminated," Adalyn explained looking at her

"So you are the reason she's run off," Rebekah guessed with a smirk

"Hey, I was just telling her the truth. She's the one who realized they were just using her to keep their control over the witches," Adalyn spoke with a smirk

"Yeah well, I've never been a fan of the boys club. Just wait, Elijah will join them and the three of them will be impossible, used by the witches, lied to by Marcel, manipulated by Elijah, and threatened by Klaus. Just like a modern-day Casket Girl," Rebekah added to support

"Are you talking about Davina or yourself?" Adalyn questioned with a knowing look

"Does it matter? Either way, us girls have got to stick together," Rebekah spoke making Adalyn nod

Adalyn had thought about Klaus' offer earlier and truth be told she missed having fun and being social but she knew that it wasn't safe for her or her babies to be out in the open with it being busy. Adalyn shook her head and then decided to just go to sleep and let the night whisk her away.
