Elijah and Gia, who are dressed up in cocktail attire again, are standing in Josephine's living room with Hayley and Adalyn, who is in her usual loose top, jeans, and combat boots. She seems to sense the budding relationship between Elijah and Gia and keeps clearing her throat awkwardly, which does not go unnoticed by either of them. After an uncomfortable silence, Gia finally speaks up.

"I'm gonna see if I can find Josephine," Gia spoke before walking out

"Well, now I see why you didn't answer my calls but did she have to come with us?" Hayley asked the man

"Josephine LaRue can be rather recalcitrant. She is, however, enamored with Gia's musical prowess and cavalier spirit," Elijah explained some more

"So, the baby vamp is now the Witch-Whisperer? I'm just glad that you found someone so multi-talented to spend your time with..." Adalyn joked with him

"What exactly do you want from me? Madame LaRue," Elijah greeted as she walked in

"Mr. Mikaelson, have you come to impress me once more with young Gia's rare talents? What, pray tell, does this one do?" Josephine questioned with a look

"This one is family, Madame but, we've come to ask for a favor," Adalyn spoke making her nod

"I assure you, Madame LaRue, we will defend your witches with a fearsome vengeance," Elijah spoke with a nod

"You have a wonderful way with words and your cadence is pleasant, normally, I could listen to it all day long, but I grow tired of this. My mind remains unchanged," Josephine spoke as she walked in

"Are you serious? She puts on a talent show and he has every vampire in the Quarter kissing your ass, and your final answer is Screw you?" Hayley asked as she was angry

"We came here to honor the alliance between us. If this is something you wish to rescind, so be it," Elijah spoke as he started to leave

"Don't you dare walk into my house and threaten me, I am not the one that needs you, Elijah Mikaelson; it is you who needs us, or you will soon enough," Josephine stated before Adalyn scoffed

"What does that mean?" Adalyn asked as she crossed her arms

"There's a storm coming, child, and your darkest demons ride upon it. I do not know its name, but when I peer into your future, there is a blackness that should terrify you," Josephine stated leaving them confused

Adalyn was still worried as they had left, she wanted to know more about what was going on and how she could be more prepared for it. Klaus had walked into the room with a sigh as he had a tough day aswell.

"We didn't make much progress with Josephine besides this new threat coming to town," Adalyn spoke making him nod

"And you haven't been able to stop thinking about it since," Klaus spoke as she sighed

"You know me so well," Adalyn hummed before he kissed her

"That I do," Klaus agreed while looking at her

"Sometimes, too well," Adalyn remarked with a smile

"I think that's a good thing and it helps me understand what you are thinking," Klaus spoke as she looked up at him

"I wanna have an actual first date when this is all over," Adalyn stated making him smile

"Anything you want," Klaus agreed causing her to smile

"I just wish that Josephine had given more detail about this new threat and how we could stop it," Adalyn admitted in a soft voice

"We will handle it when the time comes, Lynn," Klaus spoke to comfort

"I hope so," Adalyn chimed with a breath

Klaus hummed before kissing her, she loved how he always checked up on her at the end of the day. Thier relationship was complicated at the start but it was just starting and that's when it grew into something beautiful and strong.
