Klaus had managed to get inside but the witches were holding him with their powers as he was forced to watch. He was screaming threats as Adalyn was grunting in pain as she pushed. She was scared to have the twins and even more so that they were going to take her babies to use them.

"One last push, they are almost here," Genevieve convinced some more

"No, please," Adalyn pleaded with them

"I can see them," Monique added to the two

"There, you have a beautiful baby daughter and son and we must start the sacrifice as soon as the moon sets with the morning sky," Genevieve spoke as Adalyn sighed

"Please, can I hold them?" Adalyn pleaded and was accepted

Adalyn smiled as she held her babies but it was short-lived when she grew tired, they took the babies back from her before she laid back and closed her eyes. She woke up an hour later and got up to look for her kids and to protect them.

"We've passed through here twice already and we're running out of time," Elijah seethed with anger

"Then we move faster," Klaus stated before making a mark

"Or smarter," Adalyn called out from behind them

"How are you here?" Elijah questioned the girl

"I woke up in the church, I felt this hunger and I knew what I needed. I can feel them, I can feel our babies," Adalyn explained to them

"You died with the baby's blood still in your system, she's in transition," Klaus spoke looking at his brother

"Which means she has to drink the blood of the children if she is to survive," Elijah guessed in shock

"To be reborn a hybrid," Klaus added staring at Adalyn

"I don't care about me but I'm gonna go find our son and daughter," Adalyn stated looking at Klaus

Klaus and Elijah followed after her as she went on to find the witches, she wanted an answer as to why her kids were ripped away from her and hunted down, she wanted to watch them pay for what they did and she was going to kill them.

"Why?" Adalyn asked as they walked in

"The ancestors left me no choice..." Genevieve started to explain

"You were willing to sacrifice innocent babies for more power?" Adalyn questioned with a scoff

"No, not just power and it was the ancestors' decree, it was her decree," Genevieve admitted in a soft breath

"It was whose decree?" Elijah questioned some more

"I'm surprised you have to ask, after all, you were the one who convinced your siblings to consecrate her on New Orleans soil," Genevieve spoke looking at the man

"Esther, not even death can stop my mother from seeking the annihilation of her own flesh and blood," Elijah spoke in response

"This isn't the end as long as that child lives, the witches of New Orleans will never stop coming for it, Esther will never stop coming for it. It has been decreed your babies will be consecrated among her ancestors and she will not live, tell Klaus, I'm sorry," Genevieve spoke as she coughed on blood

"I'm not," Adalyn stated before killing her

Later that night, Klaus was staring at the twins as they slept, and Adalyn was sitting in the chair beside them. She was rocking herself to try and help calm her nerves as she watched her children asleep peacefully next to her.

"We have brought into the world a weapon they can use against me," Klaus spoke in a soft voice

"Then we will arm ourselves, brother, we have fought every adversary in this town, and we have won and we'll fight them again, no matter who they are! We will make this home a fortress," Elijah suggested to them

"I will not have them live thier life as a prisoner," Klaus stated in a low voice

"Then we leave here, together, all of us," Elijah convinced some more

"Wherever we go, however far we run, those who seek power and revenge will hunt us! They will hunt them, they have inherited all of our enemies with none of our defenses," Klaus stated in return

"So, whether we stay, or we leave," Elijah added before Adalyn sighed

"I think the only thing to do is send them away, while we stay behind and clean up the mess that we've made," Adalyn suggested to them

"No, this is insane. You heard Genevieve and so long as she lives, those babies will be hunted," Elijah pointed out to them

"Not if no one knows they are alive," Klaus stated as he stood up

"What is it you intend to do, brother?" Elijah questioned the man

"Whatever it takes to save our family," Klaus stated looking at the twins

They had ended up faking the twin's death, Adalyn was heartbroken about having to send them away and she would have to miss their first moments. They had met up with Rebekah shortly after as there was no one else they trusted more at the moment.

"Hello, sister," Klaus greeted the blonde

"Oh, they look like thier mother so maybe there is a God after all," Rebekah joked looking at them

"Well, they have a hint of the devil in their eyes, that's all me but I need a witch you can trust to cast a cloaking spell," Klaus spoke in return

"I'll get one," Rebekah reminded once again

"No one can ever find them," Adalyn reminded the blonde

"I know what to do, Addie and perhaps we'll get a white fence, I think that would be lovely," Rebekah spoke with a smile

"This city would have seen you dead but, I will have it your home and every soul who wishes you harm will be struck down, just as sure as my blood runs in your veins, you will return to me. Despite our differences, Rebekah, there is no one I would trust more with my kid's life, be happy, sister," Klaus spoke as she took the twins

"They will be happy, Nik, I promise. What's thier names?" Rebekah asked looking at the parents

"Hope and Henrik Mikaelson," Adalyn spoke with tears

Adalyn watched as Rebekah put them in their seats, she busted out in tears at the sight of her babies leaving her field of vision and Klaus pulled her into a hug of comfort as he teared up aswell. They already had such a hard start in life and now they are ripped apart from their home and family.
