Arabella's POV:

It's like she knew what I had discovered in the doctor's office. She somehow knew that my baby was going to be a boy, and she was coming to give him girl advice.

Of course, I knew that was stupid, but how did she know I was there? What if she always knew where I was? I wouldn't be able to handle seeing her everywhere.

Elise was going to end me.

Ty's POV:

It was almost unbearable watching Arabella deteriorate again. She wasn't eating enough, and she rarely left her room, much less the house. Her stomach rapidly grew, and I think that the more the baby developed, the sadder Ara seemed. She wouldn't talk to us about anything, and sometimes we caught her staring at her stomach for prolonged periods of time with looks of resent.

"Do you hate him?" I ask her one day. She looks like she is going to burst any day; her due date is only in a week or so.

She rubs her bare stomach and stares at it wistfully. "No. I don't hate him. I just don't want him to be born into a world like this, and to a mom that is barely surviving."

This is the most she's opened up to me in months. "What do you mean?" I try to tread lightly so she doesn't feel attacked.

"I'm not even sure I want to be alive, so why should I bring a life into this shit world? It seems kind of hypocritical."

I gasp at her confession. "Ara, you need to see someone. I don't like seeing you like this."

"He's a constant reminder of her. She wanted to name a boy Cameron. I hated that name."

"Ara-"

"I'm naming him Camden. Is that too similar? I just really like it."

"Ar-"

"I love him, and I- oh my god." She shrieks and jumps up.

I immediately see what she is so excited about- there's a wet spot on the bed.

"Are you...?"

"Get the car. And Mike."

Obeying her orders, I yell throughout the house, "THE BABY'S COMING!" Then run to get the car started. About a minute after, Mike comes out holding Ara's hand and guiding her towards the car.

"Camden's ready to get out, I guess." Ara laughs as she looks down at her belly, but then her face contorts in pain.

"What?" I yell.

"Nothing, just drive." And I do.
