A/N: sorry the last chapter was so crappy. I'm still on vacation, and it was a bit rushed. The next chapters will be so much better. The thing is, marching band is going to take up a lot of my time for the next month... and throughout the entire fall school semester.
So, I'm going to make a permanent schedule. I'm still deciding whether it will be two or three times a week, but I'll keep you updated on it. (THIS IS A CHAPTER BTW JUST A LITTLE AUTHOR'S NOTE FIRST) so yeah. But I'm sorry, school sucks. Okay, here's the chapter.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••No matter what I do, she won't come out of our room. I pounded on the door, but she just wouldn't open it. The sounds of her sobbing was silenced at around 3 am. That's what worries me. They didn't quiet down, they were cut off. What could be wrong? I couldn't sleep last night; I stayed by the door all night. Now it's almost noon, and she won't respond to me.
What if she hurt herself?
Oh god, how do I get in? There's gotta be a key somewhere...
There's not. I searched everywhere, but there's no keys. I think she has them in there with her. I don't know how to pick a lock. How do I-
Ty! Ty knows how to pick a lock! I've seen him do it before! I frantically search for my phone upstairs, but it's not anywhere. I basically fall down the stairs, and then I see it on the couch. My fingers are shaking as I attempt to click on Ty's name.
"Hello?" Ty answers. He sounds tired.
"Ty, Ty, I need you. Please, I..." I'm breathing heavy and I can barely speak.
"Arabella, what is it?" I silently scream and search for words. "She's locked in her room, and I don't know what's wrong. I need you to help me, please, Ty, I need you." I give him the address, and he seems to understand. He gets here in about 10 minutes, which is too long. I point to the door upstairs, and he immediately gets to work. It doesn't take him very long. "Oh my god." I scream. I don't want to go in, so I just wait for him to say something. "Ara, please get me the phone." He's being too calm. He comes to the doorway, and I hand him the phone.
"I'm here with my friend, and she passed out. I think she hurt herself, there's a lot of blood. No, she has a pulse. I can't tell." He's talking to the police. He called 911, didn't he? He's giving an address; it's my address. Her address.
Blood? I'm tempted to go in, but I'm not ready to see her like this. I block out Ty, who is talking to someone else on the phone now.
How could this happen? She's never acted like anything was wrong. Is this why she was saying she was sorry, or was that for something else? I just don't understand how she could do this to me.
I stay where I am as paramedics rush in, along with Mike. Mike sits with me and a holds me. I bury my head in his chest when they come out with Elise on a gurney, because I don't want to see her. I decline the paramedic's offer to ride in the ambulance with her, Mike and Ty can take me to the hospital. I wasn't ready for this; I wasn't prepared. What if she's dead? There goes eleven months of staying with her.
How could she do this to me?
